💙 Titan 💙
Titan is a 2 year old, 100 pound, Cane Corso/Mastiff, who came to the shelter found as a stray in the country dragging himself around on a woman's farm unable to use his back legs and covered in sores. Our amazing Animal Control officer Keith rushed Titan to the vet where x-rays were given. Titan has no broken bones and we can only guess what happened to him in his past. What we do know about Titan is his love for life and for people is unmatched!
He has spent the last month in a foster home gaining weight, learning how to use his new wheelchair, and gaining some movement back in his legs and tail! Titan is a survivor and he needs a hero to give him the home and love he truly deserves.
Titan is house trained and whines to go outside. He can crawl using his front legs and back knees, but moves best with his wheelchair or supported with a towel. He loves to snuggle and give kisses. He is gentle with children. He is interested in cats, but not impolite. He would need very slow introductions with new dogs and would do best in a home with an older, trained dog who would give him space. He is currently in a home with two playful, younger dogs and they are not his favorite!
We understand Titan is not everyone's dog, but we hope that he is someone's dog.
Titan is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and he comes with his very own wheelchair! His adoption fee has been sponsored.
