This month we’re celebrating our sweet girl, Indigo! 💜

Indigo is a Staffie/Pit Bull whose nickname is “The Pretty Pittie”—and it couldn’t suit her better! If we had to describe her in just three words it would be sweet, gentle, and soulful.

When she’s not hanging out with her friends, you’ll find Indigo out on walks and hikes, soaking up every adventure. Her favorite place for scratches? Right on her belly! 🥰

Like any lovable pup, she has a mischievous side—she’s been known to destroy a few baseboards along the way! 😂 She loves any toy that can survive more than 10 minutes, and loud noises are one of the few things that make her nervous.

Most of all, Indigo’s favorite place in the world is wherever her dad is. ❤️ Her loyal, loving personality makes her such a joy to have around, and we’re so lucky she’s part of The Bark Spot family.

Congratulations, Indigo! We’re so happy to have you as our Dog of the Month! 🐶🎉

Let’s get to know one of our amazing team members, Kellie! 💚

Kellie is from Bear River City and has been part of The Bark Spot family for 10 months! She loves watching the dogs grow, make friends, and become more comfortable throughout their time with us. She especially connects with our older dogs. 🥰

Outside of work, Kellie enjoys traveling, learning new things, and spending time with her family. She’s a big fan of The Hunger Games and Harry Potter, loves the color purple, and has a soft spot for bully breeds and Labs! 💜🐶

Kellie has always loved caring for animals and says they’ve been a big part of her life. She loves being able to care for others and hopes every dog she works with feels cared for and loved. ❤️

She’s also a proud dog mom to two pups, Dozer and Benca! 🐕🐕

We’re so grateful to have Kellie on our team and for all the love and care she gives to the dogs every day! 🐾💚

🐾 Meet Lexie! 🧡✂️

We’re so excited to introduce one of our amazing groomers, Lexie! With 7 years of grooming experience and 3 years at The Bark Spot, she’s passionate about making every pup look and feel their best.

Lexie loves grooming Shih Tzus and Aussies, and when she’s not at the salon, you’ll probably find her at the gym or horseback riding. Her favorite color is orange, she’s a huge Transformers fan, and she can quote the entire movie Tombstone word for word!

At home, Lexie has two Collie mixes, Daisy and Minnie, who get to come to work with her every day. She became a groomer because she loves both beauty and dogs—and says it’s the perfect combination (plus, the dogs never complain about her singing! 🎶🐶).

What Lexie loves most about grooming is the genuine relationships she builds with both pets and their owners. Seeing excited dogs come running to greet her makes every day worth it. 💚

Nothing beats celebrating with our community! ❤️🐾 We had such a great time at the Pioneer Parade and loved seeing so many familiar faces. Thank you to everyone who came out to support this amazing tradition—we’re so grateful to be part of such a wonderful community!

Our team takes the time each dog needs—whether that means extra cuddles, gentle encouragement, or moving at their own pace. We believe trust can’t be rushed, and neither can quality care.

Whether they’re here for daycare, boarding, or grooming, every tail wag, cuddle, play session, and nap is treated with the same love and care we’d want for our own dogs. From the moment they walk through our doors to the moment they head home, they’re part of our family.

🐾 Meet Ashley! 🐾

We’re so excited for you to get to know one of our amazing Kennel Techs, Ashley! 💚

Originally from Michigan, Ashley has spent her whole life working with animals—from helping rehabilitate wildlife and exotics to caring for pets of all kinds. Her passion started with her grandmother, who inspired her love for animal care, and it has only grown from there.

When she’s not spending time with dogs, you’ll probably find her crocheting, working on taxidermy projects, or diving into Lord of the Rings or The Witcher. Her favorite colors are black and green, and she has a soft spot for working with breeds like German Shepherds, Dobermans, Belgian Malinois, Pit Bulls, and Norwegian Elkhounds. At home, she’s the proud pet parent of two black cats, Loki and Lucifer, and a snake named Coraline.

When asked what she hopes every dog feels after spending time with her, her answer was simple:
❤️ “Love & feeling safe.”

Ashley loves building trust with every pup she meets and is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure every dog has a positive experience. We’re so lucky to have her as part of The Bark Spot family! 🐾✨
