Indy is doing fantastic in his new home. I knew he’d love the opportunity to be the horse that got picked for adventures and trying new things. As a breeder, you never quite know how far they’ll excel or how quickly, but Indy being a go-to dude for kids to ride safely in his young life sure is a testament to his great character. Love seeing these kinds of updates 💕. Thank you Big Sky Kigers for taking such good care of him and giving him the resume for life I wouldn’t have been able to accomplish.

Love seeing Kigers get into fantastic homes with phenomenal trainers like Christa Miremadi who continue to develop the horse into well rounded individuals who love their jobs and life. It really shines through. I’m happy to be a part of this journey and getting the Cowboy c**t into existence for Big Sky Kigers on Armonia’s way up to Canada when we pivoted from original plan 😂. It’s fun to work with people like you guys. Armonia is (Brioso x Zuri) daughter.

Queso update: he is settling in well at Erika’s in Washington and she’s been having fun watching him take on new concepts in training to further his education as a young stallion. Stallions moving to new locations can be tough to get them to settle, but he’s got a very grounded personality and takes a lot of new things in stride very well. Steens Vaquero x Dezi is his breeding and he reminds me a lot of his dam’s side look and movement wise.

Ok Kiger friends, help the algorithm to hopefully connect Seven to his person in Sweden. It’s not easy getting new bloodlines overseas and he’s a new one for Sweden. He’s young and has a whole big future ahead of him and a fantastic sire that has shown extensively both in the United States and in Germany.

I september kommer Seven hem till gården igen efter några månader på Skuggebergets Gård där han fått gå i en liten flock med sto och föl. Han har betäckt 7 ston hos mig och 2 på Skuggebergets Gård.
Seven har visat sig väldigt fertil och har varit trevlig vid handbetäckning. Han avslutar betäckningssäsongen med fribetäckning och att gå i flock.
Det märks att han trivs bättre när det är mindre med hästar att hålla koll på.
Jag har tyvärr inte möjlighet eller plats att ha 3 hingstar på gården. Så med detta hoppas jag så innerligt att någon ser både möjligheten och att ta tillvara på hans blodslinjer att föra vidare som hingst. Han är sista avkomman mellan Truthsayer's Sun och Cherokee Tempest.
Jag kommer dessutom att stänga gården för utomstående ston nästa år. Får se vilket år jag öppnar upp igen.
Så Viho kommer endast att betäcka mina ston nästa år då jag behöver fokusera på alla kommande föl.

Jag är beredd att inleda ett samarbete gällande Seven. Hans blodslinjer är alldeles för värdefulla för att "slänga iväg" ,men tyvärr ser det ut som så att jag kommer behöva att kastrera honom när han kommer hem då jag inte har platsen för 3 hingstar.

W12 Armonia (Brioso x Zuri) now residing with Big Sky Kigers for past couple of years is out of maternity leave and getting cow camp experience on her resume 🔥. She blossomed into a lovely mare that sure knows how to turn heads.

Anyone in the Northeast looking for a great Kiger stallion prospect and/or riding partner? This guy has phenomenal breeding lines and his half brother Indy (born and raised here)is doing fantastic at Big Sky Kigers. I’ve had three of Sedona’s offspring personally and Sedona herself was here for several years. We need more great breeders to help preserve these old lines while they still exist.

W12 Vaquero's Quest, "Queso," is settling into his new Washington home with Erika Marcinek today. Excited to see what his future holds and continuing to contribute to the Kiger genes. He is Steens Vaquero x Dezi son. Photos are from earlier this year.

Exciting outing for Kigers in Finland! This is a Patron daughter out of a Charro daughter which are both bloodlines that we work with in our herd.

W12 Amaris (Brioso Canyon x Dulzura RB) is a head turning dun filly full of s***k. She is the favorite pairing from our program with all her older siblings doing phenomenal in their new homes. Amaris has been thoughtfully raised in a balanced herd environment with great role models and siblings to play with. She reminds me the most of her older sister Amora who is my keeper filly of this pairing. She is naturally very friendly and fast learner. Approved home, PM for more info. She’s already a big girl, so should mature with good height. Registration with KHAR is pending.

Probably one of my most favorite photos of all time. Aunties taking care of little sibling as herd stallion woos mom. The Kigers really have strong maternal instincts and early herd wisdom.
I've had yearling aunties here help push/snake a young foal back to its mom after wandering away. I think they were motivated to not get in trouble by being too close lol.
