Valiant Paws's History -

January 2016, I recently had quit highschool and went to Idaho to take care of my grandfather who has COPD. February came around, and after hearing him say no animals. Well, on Valentine's Day as I stood in the walkway and just opened the door. My grandfather was on the other side holding a tiny, distressed, black, ball of fur. That was the day Valentine came into our lives. Over time, many other cats I had rescued along with my grandfather, turned into a dream goal I've always wanted to achieve. Starting my non-profit to rescue kittens, and give them another chance at life when they have no mother, or no one to care for them. Also, to rescue cats that need to be fostered. That dream goal was never abandoned, things have been hard and busy over time. Recently, I had heard word of my cat Valentine. Who passed away from his health complications. It caught up to him again. Me and my grandfather were talking to each other over the phone one night, we talked about Valentine. And I told him how much I wanted to start this non-profit organization up. Then I asked about a name for it.

And that's the moment Valiant Paws started.
