With a heavy heart I am sad to say that the Foxy Hound will be closing down as of January 31st! I will miss all my fur babies and there pets/owners!! Thank you for trusting me with your precious fur babies, it has been an honor serving this community and for Lockport Animal Hospital for giving me this opportunity they have been amazing and they truly are the best. So as of February Lockport Animal Hospital will take over the grooming again and we are looking to get a groomer as soon as possible so please contact the Lockport Animal Hospital at 815–838–7878 for your fur babies grooming appointments. My Decision to close the Foxy Hound was difficult But I will be moving to Georgia. Thank you For your support And please except my deepest thanks And sincere gratitude I will miss each and everyone of my fur babies and their owners! 😢😁
I’m so happy to report that the animal hospital has found a groomer and she’ll be starting in February!! 😁

Flea and tick season!!

This is a tick that was fully engorged on a dog and fell off. It was put in a ziplock bag and they waited to see what happened. It’s been in the bag for 2 weeks with no air flow and started to lay eggs about 5 days ago, continuing to do so. Imagine not knowing this was on your animal and it fell off in your house. You’d have 1000’s of baby ticks. GROSS! Please make sure your animals are currently being treated with flea and tick prevention. We know how prevalent they are in our area.
