IT’S NATIONAL DOG DAY AND WE’D LIKE TO SHOWCASE THIS WONDERFUL PUP…

This is “Kaido”, a gentle giant who came to CVC for vitamin C treatment for his Lymphosarcoma (cancer of the lymph nodes). He did very well and is such a lovable boy! Wish him the best on his journey and watch for updates during the upcoming months.

This is “Heddie” the Hedgehog. Her mom brought her to the clinic because she started to lose her quills. At the time of her exam, we noticed her skin was scaly as well. We looked at the skin cells under the microscope and found mange mites! We suspect the mites were brought in from contaminated bedding since “Heddie” does not have contact with other Hedgehogs.🦔
This is a common route for introducing parasites to your pets. Rodents will be in stores climbing on bags of shavings, litter, and food leaving their parasites as well as their eggs behind. You purchase these products, then bring them into your homes unknowingly transferring the eggs and parasites to your pets. Be mindful like “Heddie’s” owner, if you see something out of the ordinary make an appointment to have your pet examined and cleanse the outside of these containers before bringing them into your homes!

Get your pet microchipped and confirm your information is up to date!!

We will be closed on Friday, July 4th, in celebration of Independence Day. If your pet requires medications to ensure a calm and stress free holiday weekend, we recommend placing your order now! Please allow 24-48 hours for medication or food refills. Our office hours are 8:00am - 5:30pm, Monday through Thursday, with a daily closure from 12:30pm - 2:00pm, providing a balanced schedule for our dedicated team. Have a safe and fun holiday!

Join us for a wild night of trivia at the Ismailia Shrine Center Saturday March 8th @7:00 PM
All proceeds benefit the Pet Emergency Fund of Western New York.

Here's what you need to know!
🐶Your $20 ticket donation will gain you entry to the event, the ability to participate in trivia, and entry to the door prize raffle.
🐭Pre-registration is highly encouraged, as this event is likely to sell out. Remaining tickets will be available at the door starting at 7:00 pm for $30. It is not guaranteed that tickets will be available at the door.
🐱Additional tickets for a basket raffle and 50/50 will be available for purchase.
🐰Soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, and pub-style food will be available for purchase.
🐕Doors open at 6:30pm.
🦬Trivia will begin at 7:15 pm and is expected to last 90 minutes to two hours.
