Got some much needed work done around the farm. I'm not going to lie it's been a struggle to be motivated since Dad's passing. The barn has an empty feeling to it. Some days it's OK some days it takes all I have to drag myself down there. As most of you know Dad came out to help me just about every single day up until the last few weeks. He would help me with chores or simply just sit and watch me ride, so like I said, some days the emptiness is just too much.

Despite all of those emotions, stuff still needs to get done and I had been neglecting it for too long. So after a much needed break last week this weekend with the help of BOTH Bates (Dad would have been so proud) and Mike we mowed, and w**d wacked, and w**ded, and dragged, swept and cleaned all weekend long. Thanks crew, Dad would be thrilled at how good everything looks. Mike McPatrick
