I sent my client dogs all a slip-collar from Marlen Gundogs as a thank you for being patient as Transformed Kennels is under construction! It’s something I use all the time and will be very helpful to each of them.
I needed to make a video explaining it for them so I thought I’d share that here for everyone else as well! Thanks Tyler for getting those done for us so quickly and getting them shipped to each dog!

It’s come a LONG way! We’ve still got plenty to do but it definitely feels like the majority of the big stuff is done ✅! Once the kennels are set up, we will start hanging fans and lights!
Phase 2 is super exciting/overwhelming - getting all his junk (tools) out of my puppy house (his work shed)! 😂

I posted a “how to” video on slip collars not long ago for the owners of dogs I had been training. I got each of the dogs a slip collar from Marlen Gundogs, didn’t they turn out so cool! These are great training collars and I highly recommend contacting Tyler at Marlen Gundogs to order one. While you’re ordering get yourself a grip lead too, those are awesome!

Whether your shotgun skills are masterful or you want to try something new, Transformed Training & The Camp at 5E Ranch want to invite you to a Ladies Only Dove Hunting Experience!
It’s going to be a memorable event with a very relaxed but exciting vibe! Bring a friend or come make some new besties, if you have a retriever he’s welcome too!
We will enjoy some good food, good company and have a great time! Arrive Saturday at 1:30pm for a meet & greet complete with chips, dips and sips! Everyone can get more aquainted at the friendly sporting clay competition before we head out to dove field.
After the hunt, enjoy a delicious dinner, hang out with your new friends around the fire pit and sing along to the guitar while you roast a marshmallow(or 5).
Sunday morning before the hunt, fill up on a breakfast your MawMaw would be proud to serve. Then it’s back to the field and hopefully you’ll know all your new friend’s names so you can yell at them as the birds you just missed fly their way! After the hunt we will clean and pack up all your doves to take home. Maybe you get your limit- maybe you shoot 3 boxes of shells and hit 2 birds, either way, it’s going to be a good time! We’ll even let you take pictures with someone else’s birds to post on your Instagram! 😂

Oops. I lied! We had to have dirt first! Kennels are ALMOST ready for concrete! And roof has been ordered! Things are coming along for the kennels- Exciting times ahead!
