❤️ RED’S SUNDAY OUT! ❤️

On Sunday, we took Red to visit her friends at Dog Star and had a little fun while supporting another local rescue! 📸 We made a donation to A Purposeful Life Rescue in exchange for some fun photos with this awesome backdrop, and you have another chance to do the same this Thursday!

📅 October 29th | 4–6 PM
Come get your own photo and help support A Purposeful Life Rescue! 🐾

And while Red still has plenty to work on, we are SO proud of how far she’s come. Progress doesn’t happen overnight, and every little win matters. We’re continuing to work with her, build her skills, and celebrate the progress along the way! ❤️

A quick note since you may notice it in her photos: YES, Red is wearing an e-collar. We use it for the beep and vibration functions only, and it has been tremendously helpful in getting her attention back when distractions pull her focus. It’s one of the tools that helps us communicate with her and keep her engaged while we continue working on her training.

Red’s journey is far from over, but we’re proud of this girl and all the progress she’s making. ❤️🐾

🍂🐾 THAT’S A WRAP ON OUR 4TH ANNUAL FURRY FRIENDS FALL FUNDRAISER! 🐾🍂

We are SO incredibly grateful to announce that together, we raised $8,429.17! ❤️

Our 4th Annual Furry Friends Fall Fundraiser was a wonderful turnout, and we truly couldn’t have done it without every single person who played a part.

To our generous donors, incredible sponsors, silent auction bidders, volunteers, fosters, and every person who showed up, donated, shared a post, or supported us in any way and of course our host, Wild Hogs — THANK YOU ALL! 🥹❤️

Every dollar raised helps us continue doing what we do best: showing up for the animals who need us most. From medical care and food to supplies and everything in between, your support makes a real difference in their lives.

Four years of coming together for the animals, and we are so thankful to have such an amazing community standing beside us. We couldn’t do this without you, and we never want to take that for granted.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making this year’s fundraiser such a success. Here’s to the lives we’ll save together. 🐾❤️

With love and gratitude,
Tails In Transit Team 🧨

Our sweet Cooper is back at North Star Veterinary Clinic today for yet another appointment to address those pesky ear hematomas! Between the draining, follow-up visits, and buttons placed in his ears, this boy has been through quite the medical journey. ❤️‍🩹

We’re keeping our fingers crossed that today’s visit will be his LAST one before he can officially head home with his new family next week! After everything he’s been through, we couldn’t be happier knowing that his happily ever after is so close.

Please send Cooper all the good vibes today! We’re hoping for good news, healthy ears, and the start of a wonderful new chapter with his forever family who’s been waiting so patiently!🏡❤️

Remember Lilac?! She’s the sweet girl found on the highway in Cedar Rapids 🥹 We have some exciting news to share!

Pictured here is Lilac with her rescuer, Britney, and her official new foster mom, Jessica! Lilac is doing well, and her transition into a home setting is another huge step in the right direction.

From being found on the highway to being cared for and kept safe and now settling into a home with someone to love and care for her, we are so happy to see Lilac getting the chance she deserves. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this sweet girl!

A huge thank-you to Britney for stepping up to help Lilac when she needed it most and to Jessica for opening her home and heart to her. It takes a village, and Lilac is proof of that. 💜🐾

🐦💛 Birdie’s Babies Have Officially Flown the Coop! 💛🐦

Today was a bittersweet day — all 11 of Birdie’s babies officially left our care and headed off to their new families (or stayed with their fosters forever)! 🥹

We’ve had the privilege of watching these babies grow since the day they were born, and it’s hard to believe how quickly this chapter has come to an end. We knew they’d get scooped up quickly, but we weren’t quite prepared for just how fast it would happen!

From tiny newborns to the happy, growing puppies they are today, it’s been such a special journey to be part of. ❤️

We are beyond thankful for every adopter who chose rescue and welcomed one of these babies into their family. And to the incredible fosters who helped make this possible — thank you for loving them, caring for them, and helping us get them to this next chapter.

Rescue is full of bittersweet goodbyes, but these are the ones that remind us exactly why we do what we do. 🐾💛

Happy tails, baby Birds! Your next adventure starts now. 🏡✨
