We have several more happy announcements! Four of our feline companions have found new loving homes! First, everyone's favorite curious grey tabby Gracie found her way in the hearts of her new owners. She immediately got along great with the cat the had already owned and now enjoys playing with a large variety of toys and enjoying her newfound sources of attention.

In addition, Allstate, McGregor, and Amy were all adopted as an absolutely perfect trio! The couple had originally come in to adopt McGregor and Amy, but when Allstate just wouldn't leave them alone to get lots of rubs and pets, they just had to take him too. These three cats are happy to be in a quieter and much more spacious environment to enjoy life.

While Priscilla may believe that she is invisible to all others while upon her cat tree, she is, unfortunately, incorrect. We could recognize those calculating eyes in an instant when we looked up!

We'd like to take a moment and talk about a very special cat here at our shelter. Adam was first seen by Janette almost two years ago, and he was as feral as could be. He hissed and swiped whenever anyone approached him. When Janette finally was able to capture him after countless attempts, she gave him medical care in her home, much to Adams dismay.

Now, only two months later, Adam no longer hisses or swipes at people who come by his cage. Instead, he meows at passerbys, requesting scritches and pets. We can even hold this furry beast, and he will happily purr in your arms. Should you pet other cats in his vicinity, he will bark at you until you share some affection with him.

Whenever anyone tells you that a feral cat can't be socialized, all you have to do is refer to Adam.

Our two favorite fluffy and cuddly kittens, Cotton Ball and Q-Tip, were adopted earlier today. While these guys will be missed by the shelter workers who took care of them daily, we are more than happy to see them move into the loving home they deserve!

Everyone loves a happy ending!

It is said that it takes less than thirty seconds for Caleb to see an empty lap to being the one who is sitting on it. Truly, he has a sixth sense when it comes to hearing people taking a seat. Nature is a fascinating thing.
