She is doing well with the saddling, just needs her comfort human on occassion to keep her confidence up. Dont let her boldness fool you, she is a wallflower on the inside.

Go to a local tack swap he said. Just to look he said. Left with a saddle that fits her.

There were teo options and the wonderful ladies that had the saddles let us run back uo to the house to do test fits. Really wasnt expecting one to fit her with a little bit of growing roo.lm.

Her first real saddling. All i asked was that she not break my saddle since she's never moved with the back cinch on. Like 20-30 seconds of shenanigans and she was fine. Didn't even give me the chance to record her buck attempts 🙄

10-15 minutes running around with it on and off it went. Such a clever girl. One step at a time and she's coming along nicely.

Snow! Lots of snow! Sitting at 20-24in depending on where you measure. Drifts are even higher!

Someone please inform this thing that she is in fact NOT starving.

Got hay delivered. She saw it get stacked. Tried to hulk her way over to said stack. Failed. Rig still had one delivery to make. So she tried to run after said hay rig, calling out "stawp! I starving! You can see my ribs through my fat rolls!!" THEN just caught her staring at the hay before I opened the back dooor. She'll happily have a 3x3 dropped in jer pasture tonight.

Another successful ride on the mountain princess! We just LOVE this filly. I'd take at least 2 more if we had the space 😍

She's really going to blossom under the husband's direction. Second rider in, got 10-15 laps, and more confident in her stride. She did take some off balance steps once he hopped off 😂 she's fine, was just still expecting the weight of a person on her back still.
