Dendrobates tinctorius 'Azureus' is a beautiful dart frog from southern Suriname. Known by the common name of blue poison dart frog, these frogs are actually not poisonous in captivity. In the wild they collect the toxins they use from the insects they eat and excrete them through their skin to deter predators! A process known as sequestration.
