VAK Training Club:
Our training style and decoy work is NVBK Belgian Ringsport. It's totally different than Schutzhund, and Frenchring Sport... Very simular to KNPV. That helps the dog. It makes it easy for him. All he has to do is hold on. We want our decoy as stationay as possible after the dog bites. That is a much more difficult bite for a dog. He gets NO help from the decoy. He must show he
has heart and fight in him, and the ability to bring the fight to the decoy. This builds fight and power in the dog. It also eliminates 75% of the dogs that try NVBK. Only strong dogs can do this type of training. That is the reason for our style of decoy work. It's the main reason why the NVBK and the KNPV produce the hardest dogs. You get a much better and stronger end result in your training efforts. We are a private Personal Protection K9 Training Club. We train for live street and Personal protection and security. We use the NVBK way of raising and strengthening young dogs into powerful adult K9's with solid social temperament. These are the trainings we teach our dogs. Our goal is to produce high quality home protection dogs first. Highly trained K9's for an urban or city environment. Quality of the bite must be maintained on all of the protection program. Full hard bites always.
1. Handler defense (different scenerios with gun fire).
2. Short and long attack (with guards).
3. Find and bite the man (search with and without a muzzle and gun fire)).
4. Stop attack.
5. Object guard.
6. Object guard with a muzzle.
7. Muzzle attack (short and long).
8. Obedience (on and off leash).
9. Article hunt (glove, wallet, small metal pipe, empty bullet).
10. Hurdle
11. Hurdle with a ditch.
12. Long jump with a ditch.
13. The wall. We accept working bloodlines in the working K9 breeds. We sometimes accept showlines and 50/50 %. (half showlines and half working lines). When your K9 is fully trained on our 5 or 13 training program. If you pass a trail. You will receive a title. We offer two titles (certifications).

2. Hurban K9. When I started training K9's in our club. We started training IPO (Schutzhund). Since 1977. In 1991 French Ring started poping in South Dade County now Miami Dade county. I quickly became interested and started training French Ring Sport. We worked the dogs in my old Kennel in Hialeah Gardens. My first time joining a NARA Club was in 1996 with Tropical Ring Sport Club in Hollywood Florida. The trainer was Mr. Tony Scitareli. He was my first Ring teacher. I participated in one of his trials. The Judge was Rick Mapels and the decoy was Bill Woody. After that trial. We formed French Ringers Club. The first NARA club ever in West Palm Beach. We selebrated the first French Ring Sport trial ever in the Palm Beaches. In 1998 was our first trial with judge Rick Mapels and in 1999 we had our second NARA trial with French Judge Daniel Bernueil, st Lye, France. We also had huge Seminars before each trial. The Sport of French Ring was brought to the Palm Beaches by us. We also created great interest and many enthusiast. At one time there was two other ring sport clubs that where formed from our efforts by former members. That learned the sport of French Ring with us. Also at one time interest grew so much in the state of Florida that NARA had 5 Florida Clubs and a lot of members. There was Ring Fever after our Seminars and trials. As I had to travel to Europe about 3 to 4 times a year to buy dogs for my K9 Security business. I was constantly looking for the best dogs in Belgium and Holland. Where I was exposed to the KNPV of the Netherlands and of course the NVBK Belgian Ring Sport Clubs in Northern Belgium. After going to and testing to buy and later to learn the training techniques through mostly all of the clubs. I was shocked at the difference in size and power of these dogs. I quickly realized the huge difference. I quickly said forget all of the dog training. I was doing up to this point in my career. The end results just was not worth the time or effort. I quickly started promoting and teaching the Belgian Ring Sport of the NVBK here in North America and the Caribbean. I started NVBK America in 2004. The Organization at one point had 13 clubs in North America and 4 Clubs in the Caribbean. The membership grew to 225 in North America and 55 in the Caribbean. We also had clubs interested in forming in South America and 15 members in South America. We celebrated Seminars and Trials in Florida and Georgia. Seminars in the Caribbean. I was in the middle of raising my boys and I just got burned out. I stopped competing and resigned from President of the NVBK America. Shortly after the organization was loosing control and closed. I had to dedicate my time to raising my sons and paying attention to my growing K9 Business. We turned our club to a private training club. Till this day we still are a NVBK style training Club. We developed a new training program called "Civil Unrest". This Program is put together with the goal of producing power dogs for personal protection and Police style urban k9 work. Basically our advance program will give you a strong police k9. Its really a combination of my favorite KNPV and NVBK excercises. The ones I feel will make our dogs super personal protection dogs, and also our second level will give you a powerful police k9.
