Congratulations to Miss Kuma are in order!

Kuma is one of our long-term patients that we have been seeing for a form of cancer and hind limb dysfunction. Kuma was unfortunately diagnosed with uterine adenocarcinoma at the end of January. This is the most common form of cancer for female rabbits between the ages of 4 and 6. A few common signs for this disease are gastrointestinal stasis, blood in the urine and lethargy. If your pet is experiencing this, please give us a call so we can give your bunny some help! The best way to prevent this cancer from developing is to spay your bunny young!

Kuma went through multiple chemotherapy treatments after her spay to help prevent spread of her cancer. She finished all of her treatments and will continue to do physical therapy to work on her hind limb mobility!

Kuma is the bravest bunny around!

Meeko came to visit us because he had been walking in circles and having tremors. To figure out what was going on inside his body, we performed a CT scan. This diagnostic tool provides our doctors with hundreds of images of the vital organs inside the body, with the ability to create a 3D image of internal structures. Meeko's scan helped the doctors choose the appropriate medications to help manage his symptoms.

We are located in Littleton, Colorado and focused exclusively on providing medicine to birds, reptiles, small mammals, and other non-traditional animals. Our two doctors are specialists in exotic companion medicine and strive to provide the best care to every patient who walks through our doors.

We see exotic pets for referrals, sick exams, overnight hospitalization, wellness visits, and we do have a limited capacity to intake emergency cases as well.

In our practice we are able to offer many different preventative and diagnostic tests. We are able to run bloodwork, f***l exams, disease panel testing, international health certificates, surgery, as well as CT scans or X-rays.
