Hero's Pets has teamed up with Shear Doodle Mobile Dog Grooming to offer $15 trusted nail trims! Come on down to get your pups and kitties (who tolerate nail trims) lookin' spiffy for fall! 🍁🐾

They will be here until 2PM today, as well as 10:30am - 2pm next Saturday.

❤️ The 4th of July holiday weekend is coming up fast! While it's fun for a lot of us humans, it can be quite the opposite for our furry companions.

🤍 Animal shelters report a 30-60% increase in lost pets during the July 4th weekend. Keeping pets indoors in a calm and quiet area, with identification collars on, can greatly reduce the risk of lost or hurt pets.

💙 If you are in need of any helpful calming products, we've got you covered!

🌹 Valentine’s Day Flowers 🌹: Show love to your pets and your partner! 🐾❤️ Before picking up a bouquet, check if it's pet-safe. Some flowers can be toxic to our furry friends! Here’s a quick guide:

✅ Pet-Safe Flowers:

🌹 Roses (just watch for thorns!)
🌻 Sunflowers
🌼 Gerbera Daisies
🌸 Carnations
🪻 Orchids
🌷 Tulips (in small quantities)
🌸 Asters
🌼 Zinnias

❌ Toxic Flowers to Avoid:

🐱 Lilies (toxic to cats, causes kidney failure)
🐶 Tulips (can cause vomiting, diarrhea in large amounts)
🌼 Daffodils (especially toxic in large amounts)
🌸 Chrysanthemums (gastrointestinal upset)
🌷 Azaleas (cause drooling, vomiting)
🌿 Iris (can affect the nervous system)
