Our mission is to improve the lives of humans through the immeasurable power of horses. Premier Accredited therapeutic riding program teaches basic horsemanship and horseback riding skills in an adaptive manner to meet the individual needs of our clients with disabilities of all ages.

🎉 Our Grand Opening just got even better!

We're excited to announce two special additions to our Grand Opening Celebration on July 26:

⭐ Stars & Stripes Equestrian Drill Team will be joining us with a special performance showcasing the incredible partnership between horse and rider.

🧇 Wandering Waffles will be on-site serving up delicious food throughout the event.

Join us as we celebrate our new home, meet the TRS horses, tour the facility, enjoy special demonstrations, and connect with the amazing community that makes TRS possible.

Meet FredBob, our Horse of the Month! ⭐

At 23 years young, FredBob has a special gift for making everyone feel welcome.

Whether he's carrying a first-time rider, patiently standing for grooming, or soaking up attention from volunteers, FredBob approaches every day with the same calm, kind spirit that has made him a barn favorite.

Registered as Tenino Wino, FredBob earned his barn name from two beloved grandfathers: one named Fred and one named Bob. While his registered name may be a mouthful, FredBob suits him perfectly.

We're grateful for the countless smiles, confidence, and memories he's helped create over the years.

Please join us in celebrating these volunteers who recently completed Horse Leader Training at TRS! 🐴💙

Horse Leaders play a critical role in every lesson. They are responsible for safely handling and guiding our horses while working as part of a team with instructors and side walkers. Horse Leaders must learn horse behavior, safety procedures, handling skills, and how to support both horse and rider throughout a lesson.

Becoming a Horse Leader is a significant achievement that requires training, practice, and a commitment to safety. We're incredibly proud of these volunteers for stepping up, expanding their skills, and taking on this important role.

Thank you for investing your time, energy, and hearts into our horses and clients. We can't wait to see the impact you'll make in the arena!

Everyone say hello to Guinness! 🐴💙

Guinness recently joined our herd from Cottonwood Riding Club, where he spent many years teaching riders as a trusted school horse. Now he's beginning an exciting new chapter as a TRS program horse, and he's already settling in beautifully.

If he looks familiar, you're not imagining things—he bears a striking resemblance to Splash! We can't wait for our riders and volunteers to get to know this sweet guy.

What a month! 🐴✨

Moving barns, settling horses, training volunteers, unpacking, organizing, and preparing for the return of our clients.

It was a busy 5 weeks, but we're excited to share that lessons are officially back at TRS!

Dot, whose registered name is Right On Target, is our 23-year-old Canadian Paint mare from longtime supporter Rebecca at InStride, Inc.

Highly trained, Dot is perfect for adaptive riding lessons and a favorite among staff, volunteers, and clients.

Today, our dedicated volunteers joined PATH-certified instructor Julianna Thornberg to review side walker and horse leader training. Thanks, Julianna!
