When it's too hot to ride, we find another way to learn! ☀️🐴💦
Keeping our riders and horses safe always comes first, so on especially hot days, riding may be off the table—but that doesn't mean the lesson has to be.
Instead, it's bath time!
Our clients get hands-on experience caring for their horses while learning all the little things that go into good horsemanship: getting their horse ready, washing and rinsing, using a sweat scraper, and walking them out to dry.
And judging by that little trot at the end, we'd say Guinness was VERY pleased with the lesson plan. 😂
Adaptive Riding is about so much more than riding. Every interaction with a horse is an opportunity to learn, build confidence, practice new skills, and strengthen that special horse-human connection. 💙
