**STORE CLOSING**

Here at Garden of the Paws, we have always taken great pride in stocking the highest quality items for our customers. Unfortunately, over the last few months, the quality and quantity of our offerings have become increasingly challenging for us to maintain due to increased tariffs, continued inflation, and tax increases hitting us hard. Due to these economic conditions, we have made the difficult decision to close our store permanently.

As of today, we are liquidating all stock at 15-30% off. We will honor free bags through Astro for the next two weeks until August 23rd 2025. If you believe you are close to getting a free bag. Please reach out to us this week, so we can put a plan in place to bring you the product you need. At this point, all sales are final; we can no longer accept any returns or exchanges.

Also, Miss Shandy, our store cat, is looking for a new home. If you are interested, please reach out as soon as possible. Miss Shandy would love a sunny window and a warm bed to call her very own!

As always, thank you so much for trusting us to feed your furry family members. If you have any questions about where to get your pet's food in the future, please call us asap. We are happy to help you find a store to meet your needs in the future.

Our Very First Pup of the Month:
Rocket!

We have partnered with Vintage Mini Schnauzer Rescue, to showcase one adorable adoptable a month. Drum roll, please.... Heerreee's Rocket!

At 40 pounds, we think that Rocket is a 10 year old Mini Schnauzer mix, but we have no idea what breed he might be mixed with! He was surrendered by his owner because he was scared of the new little human in the house. They can be loud, with uncoordinated surprise movements, and a little intimidating. Other than being defensive around young children, he seems to be fine. He loves his adult people, likes cuddling and hanging out, especially outside. He is not a barker and seems to be housetrained. He lived with two other dogs of similar size, but he was not the alpha dog. We think that he would enjoy living with people who work from
home like his owners did, or who are retired. Rocket is neutered, he is up to date on his vaccinations (rabies, distemper and kennel cough), vet checked, heartworm tested negative and on preventative while in rescue, and microchipped.

Rocket enjoys chewies of all types, but especially bully sticks. We have gotten him a large pupsicle, so he would like a variety of the tasty inserts, and perhaps some great, high value treats. He only came with two toys, so he might like some new toys, maybe some larger tough ones, or ones with crinkly sounds.

If you would like to meet Rocket in person, go to cominischnauzerrescue.com and complete the on-line adoption application. We suggest that you print a copy of the application before you hit the “submit” button, just in case! If you are interested in meeting Rocket, and have completed an adoption application in the last 12 months, please let our fine friends at Vintage Mini Schnauzer Rescue know. They will give you a call to set up a time to bring Rocket for a visit.

If you are interested in helping Rocket live his best life until he finds his new fur-ever home, you are welcome to donate any of the items on Rocket's Wishlist at Garden of the Paws, we will make sure he gets them!
