Blizzard came in to get a splash of color!! Wild man normally, he’s a perfect gentleman on the table!! Blizzard comes almost every day to see us for day boarding, but today was a spa day!!

Baby Nala came in for her first ever groom today!! Such a sweet girl! Had to catch a picture holding her because she’s so wiggly!

She had what we recommend for the first few puppy visits, face/feet/potty trail. Preferably we start puppies with these LHM (long hair maintenance) visits after they’ve had a couple vaccines to help protect them. These visits are crucial for building a foundation for your puppy’s grooming experiences. It gives them small doses of exposure to help get them comfortable with the process.
Things you can do at home to help desensitize them is gently rubbing their paws, in between their toes, around their muzzle, and their ears. As well as doing the same thing with an electric toothbrush, which has similar sound and vibration to the clippers we use to tidy them up with!
Remember, small doses and keep it positive!!
