These beautiful pups have been raised around small children and other dogs and cats. They are snuggly and playful. Mum is a beautiful calm papillon, dad is aa calm and playful Pomeranian. Both family pets with small children in the house.
All puppies have had their first vaccinations and up to date with worm and flea treatments.
A Pomeranian-Papillon cross, often referred to as a "Paperanian," is a mix between a Pomeranian and a Papillon. These small dogs typically have a blend of characteristics from both parent breeds, which can include a lively, friendly demeanor and a fluffy, often colorful coat.
Characteristics and Traits:
Size: Small, usually weighing between 3 to 6kgs.
Coat: Their coat can vary, but it is often medium to long, soft, and fluffy. It may require regular grooming to prevent matting.
Color: Coat colors can range widely, including white, black, brown, tan, or a mix of these.
Ears: They often have the characteristic large, butterfly-like ears of the Papillon, but the exact shape can vary.
Personality: Typically energetic, intelligent, and affectionate. They may have a strong desire to be around people and can be quite playful.
Training: Generally intelligent and can be easy to train, though they may have a stubborn streak. Consistent, positive reinforcement works best.
Care and Maintenance:
Exercise: Regular play and short walks are usually sufficient to keep them healthy and happy.
Considerations:
Living Environment: Well-suited to apartment living due to their small size but still need mental and physical stimulation.
Socialization: Early socialization is important to prevent potential behavioral issues, such as excessive barking or anxiety.
A Pomeranian-Papillon cross can make a delightful and loving companion, particularly for those who have the time to devote to their care and training.
