Tonight marks the end of a very special chapter. The last of our ratties have gone to their new homes, and with that, Moonshine Mischief Rattery is officially closing.
It’s hard to put into words what this rattery has meant to me. It’s been so much more than breeding or caring for animals, it’s been years of love, learning, laughter, heartbreak, and joy. Every tiny heartbeat that started here has carried a piece of mine into the world. This has been one of the hardest and most meaningful chapters of my life. Over the years, I’ve poured my heart into raising, loving, and finding homes for so many wonderful little souls. Every baby born here, every adopter who became part of our extended family… you’ve all made this journey so special.
I’ve met so many incredible people through this journey. Adopters who became friends, fellow breeders who became family, and of course, every ratto who made their mark on my heart. Watching them grow, bond, and find their forever homes has been one of the greatest honors of my life.
While this chapter is closing, the story doesn’t end here. Saying goodbye isn’t easy, but I know our lines are in amazing hands. Our dear friends at Ready's Rattery will be carrying them forward with the same love, care, and dedication. I’ve passed our lines on to them, and I truly couldn’t imagine a better home for them to continue growing and thriving. They embody everything this community stands for. Please take a moment to check them out, give them a follow, and show them the same love and support you’ve given us.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to everyone who has been part of this journey. For your trust, your kindness, your encouragement, and your love for these tiny, incredible lives. You’ve made this chapter one I’ll cherish forever. This isn’t really goodbye… just a new beginning for the lines and memories we’ve created together. 🩵🐀💜
