This is Lollipop! She is a 9 or 10 week old stray kitten who needs a loving home. She is a little shy at first but so very sweet and adores attention. She has had initial vaccines, deworming etc but will need future vet care for remaining vaccines and such. Let’s find this baby a purrrrfect family.

Hope everyone is safe and well after all the storms! Many of our pets get nervous during thunderstorms. Please make sure your furry family members are in a safe place indoors. Microchips and identification are so important in case they get out during bad weather!
This little guys likes to help with medical records during his brothers visits. 🥰

Happy weekend! We have a big announcement.
But... trigger warning... this is an unusually heavy post for us, as we are discussing pet aftercare.

We are both excited and humbled to introduce you to our newest option for aftercare for your furry family members: aquamation.
Aquamation is a water-based alternative to flame cremation for caring for our pets after they pass. It is a gentle, eco-friendly process that uses water, temperature and alkalinity to mimic the natural process that takes place when a pet is buried in the soil. Aquamation uses much less energy and has significantly less environmental impact than traditional flame cremation, with no toxic residues, and yields 20% more ashes to be returned to the family. Old River Aquamation is a local, family-owned company (the Chapman family in fact!), and we are thrilled to offer this service to pet families in the Little Rock area.

We greatly appreciate the trust you have placed in us. It is something we do not take lightly. We have been honored to care for your sweet senior pets, and we have helped so many cross the rainbow bridge with loving care. Miso cannot believe it’s 2025, and we can’t either! We had a great year caring for your senior and special needs pets, and we are humbled by the trust that so many of you have placed in us, especially in your pet’s final moments. Precious is a 9 year old spayed female yorkie. Her owners passed and she needs a new home.
She is very sweet and social, and loves kids and cats. She does not love my big dog, so she may do better in a home without other dogs.
She has been vaccinated and is up to date on heartworm prevention. She has some minor issues typical of an older yorkie but no major health concerns at this time. The biggest challenge is her skin, which is getting much better and should be ok with some continued management.
She is very social and wants to be with people all the time. She has a little separation anxiety and would do well with someone who is home a lot. Overall she is calm and loving, and would make a great companion! Message me if you would like more information.
