Meet Nash—a ridiculously charming 4-year-old Boston Terrier/Boxer mix with a heart-melting underbite and a lovable 30-pound frame. Nash has a long list of allergies, but thanks to American Boston Terrier Rescue & Rehab, he’s thriving on a special diet and surrounded by love in his foster home. (His food is readily available at Walmart and is not expensive, so please don't let that deter you!)

Despite his special dietary needs, Nash is a gentle, social sweetheart who adores snuggles, car rides, snuggles, playtime with kids, dogs, cats, and even other critters - and did we mention snuggles?

Foster Homes Needed in Texas & Oklahoma – Help Us Save Lives! 🐾

American Boston Terrier Rescue & Rehabilitation (ABTRR) is urgently seeking loving foster homes in Texas and Oklahoma to help care for Boston Terriers in need—especially seniors and special needs dogs who deserve comfort, compassion, and a second chance.

Every month, dozens of dogs come into our care, but our ability to help them is limited by the number of active foster homes we have. That means some dogs must wait longer than they should—or worse, we may have to turn away dogs in need simply because we don’t have a safe place for them to land.

Fostering truly saves lives.

When you foster, you’re not just giving a dog a temporary home—you’re giving them hope, healing, and the love they’ve been missing. And you’re never alone in the journey! ABTRR has a tight-knit, supportive community of fosters and volunteers who always put the dogs’ needs first. We’re here to guide you every step of the way.

Yesterday was incredible, and we'd like to thank everyone who has donated during this year's North Texas Giving Day event and Early Giving window. Y'all are amazing and we appreciate your extraordinary kindness and generosity, especially during these difficult economic times. Every dollar raised will benefit the dogs you've met online over the past day or so, and because ABTRR is a 501c3 charity, your donations are tax deductible.

We hope you've enjoyed reading about some of the deserving dogs in American Boston Terrier Rescue's program today. Hopefully their tales have painted a picture that illustrates our mission to rescue, rehab, and rehome as many senior and special needs Boston Terriers as we can.

We have the passion - we are only limited by the number of willing foster homes in our program and finances.
