Accidentally bumping the wrong button? Fenner production teams, using measuring equipment to quality test belt length, found they were hitting buttons by accident and constantly resetting the equipment. Our engineering team helped design a cover that would not only protect accidental button presses, but also has a simple living hinge flip top so the teams can get to the button quickly when needed.

To create these shin guards, the base geometry was modeled in Fusion 360 and optimized in nTopolgy by adding different lattice patterns and generating multiple designs. And the best part?
