I am devastated💔💔 sad, mad and physically ill 🤮

Lady Rain went over the rainbowbridge early this morning 6 days before her due date!
I was up with her during the night, she was in labor, to keep her hydrated I used a syringe to wet her tongue. Her labors are always kinda pokey so wasn’t overly concerned.
The last time I gave her water she didn’t lick like before. I instantly knew something was wrong so I called the vet.
At that point she stopped breathing but her heart was still beating I tried to massage her chest (cpr?) I wasn’t sure what to do and I couldn’t think right, everything was in slow motion but extremely fast!
Smoketown didn’t have a surgeon on call so the closest hospital was 30 min away! 😱
I grabbed her n a towel and drove to the neighbor who has a kennel. She was totally gone 💔
My next thought was to save the pups, Joe helped me do a c-section but it had gone 15-20 min since I called the vet. Once the heart stops there is only 5 min to save the pups 💔💔💔
The pups were beautiful! Almost all the same size and looked very healthy, one tried to breathe but the others never even tried💔💔 believe me I TRIED!! Everything I knew what to do!!

8 puppies, 3 ruby girls, 3 blenhiem girls and 2 ruby boys💔

In all my 10 years of raising puppies I never lost a mother!! 💔💔
