Summer days are for lots of fresh grass turnout and sunny days. Also, our five newly added pastures for grazing. A goal of mine when I purchased the property nearly two years ago was to fence in the entire property as it only came with one grass pasture.

Some of you may wonder why we haven’t posted in a while, but the projects around the barn have been keeping us busy. This includes all new arena footing and new pastures for our horses to graze. Oh, I forgot to mention we reseeded all of our pastures.

We had an awesome weekend cheering on our boarders at their show! They brought home several ribbons from their excellent performances in the show ring.

NEW STALL WALLS ALERT!

We have been working hard to give the barn a fresh new look by replacing old stall dividers with brand new quality white oak! We’ve also replaced old corner feeders and stall mats where needed.

We have stalls available for boarding! Please message us for more info.

After the passing of Ashton, we thought it was a little too quiet around the barn. Everyone loved our barn cat. So we found another one.... meet Rascal! He has a lot to say and enthusiastically greets everyone who walks into our doors. When he’s not interacting with his favorite equine buddies or stalking birds, he enjoys napping on his high perch in the viewing room. He is always willing to receive pets or be held by anyone including the tiniest of riders! Welcome to the farm.

Today our supervisor Ashton aka The Barn Cat passed over the rainbow bridge. Ashton had been battling cancer that took over his body. He will have an endless supply of mice in heaven. He was loved by everyone and will be missed. RIP Ashton

THE STABLES AT WINDY ACRES IS UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP

What better day to express my thankfulness for this new opportunity! I am feeling so blessed to be able to share my love of horses at this amazing facility. I have been welcomed by a wonderful community of boarders and I can’t wait to begin new projects to improve upon this already beautiful farm. Thank you to the previous owners Jenn & Alex for committing to a seamless transition and sharing their extensive knowledge of the industry.
