If its hot out we wear sandles or no shoes because that helps us be comfortable! We are pretty laid back in our home shop!

Miss Colbie decided that laying down was the best way to be dried. 😂 She got a summer cut today.

To upkeep your doodles, throughly brushing them between grooms is a fantastic way to not only keep them mat free, but it is a great bonding technique. When I say throughly brushing I mean everywhere.

The most common places for mats that we see are on elbows, feet, behind the ears, on top of the ears, on the muzzle, between the legs and the tail.

Now, personally, I brush my doodle every day, but I know not everyonee can do that. I would recommend at least 2-3 times a week from tip of their nose to the tip of their tail and everywhere in between. I, myself, use a metal comb and a slicker brush, like we in the shop, to keep Bluey mat free and looking sharp between his grooms. We call it his “prettys” and he loves it! 🥰
