Tons of cuties this week for our mobile Rebel Pack!
It is market season, so you now have two ways to get a trim, but my mobile services will have tons of perks that my markets wont have.
✨Mobile perks:
- Personal one on one experience in your own home
- Add-On and Packages additional to a nail trim
- Rewards cards only mobile clients can use both in mobile and markets
- The convenience of not leaving your house or loading up the pups/kids in the car

I am primarily mobile and offer that service all year around! Oct-April my mobile schedule will be Tues-Fri and during the summer I am full time mobile, offering it again on weekends. Mobile pricing will depend on location. You can send me your major cross streets for a quote/availability of your area. Text 970-795-8202 reach out anytime!

Here's what yall been waiting for... October market schedule!
If you're new here, I offer my nail trim services seasonally at local markets on the weekends for a discounted price. So if you're looking for a more affordable option or simply want to meet me and get more info- stop on by! Here are some highlights:
- $12 dog nail trims onsite (manual clip)
- $5 additional for filing (manual filer- no dremel)
- Walk up only, no appointment needed
- Any breed, age, size, and temperament (I have muzzles)
- I'm at markets Oct- April (no markets during the summer)
- Add-Ons and Packages will NOT be available at markets, mobile only
- Payment options: cash, card, venmo, zelle (tips highly appreciated🥰)
- Print outs of monthly calendars will be available at my booth at all events
- No coupons accepted at markets. Any coupons you get are for mobile only

**Markets are not for every dog. The environment is filled with people, dogs, kids, loud noises, and outside elements. Please consider this before bringing your pups to see me. If you have a nervous, less confident dog, I highly recommend trying my mobile services first.

I'm so excited to be back at markets- as I'm sure most of you are excited to have me back! I can't thank you enough for how successful last season was. It allowed me to go full-time and offer my (surprisingly) highly demanded services to so many of you and your dogs. Thank you for your word of mouth, loyalty, and support!
I'm only one person though, so due to high demand I did have to increase my market prices. I plan to hire an assistant and the price increase will pay for that 😊

Don't worry, I'm still mobile during the week Tues- Fri 😉👍

Did you guess what I was spelling out on the Rebel Rewards Card? REBELS of course 😄
All these cards have been redeemed this week and it's only Tuesday! You'll get a stamp per dog and your 7th dog will be half off, yay!
When I was thinking of what I wanted to do for loyalty rewards, I thought a punch card would be the easiest cause who would loose a card at their own house?! Wow was I wrong LOL if you're looking for ideas where to keep your rewards card so you don't forget it, here are some creative places I've seen:
- taped on the back of the front door lol
- taped on top of the treat bowl
- taped on the wall by the leashes/collars
- inside the kids homework pocket cause "nothing gets lost nor thrown away from there"
- used as a bookmark in the current book their reading cause "there ain't no way the kids are touching my book"
*based on true events lol*
Where do you keep your rewards card? 😂

Monday's suck... but this review doesn't!
Do you have a reactive, fearful dog? You're not alone!
In the 11+ years I've worked in the animal industry, one big issue I've seen is owners not being able to find a place who will do their reactive dog without sedation. Though there are some dogs who need that, most of the time they just need some TLC.
Factors that can help a reactive/ nervous dog:
-🏠 Environment: they feel safer and more comfortable in their familiar space- at home. A vet/groomers has a very fast pace, loud, and over stimulating atmosphere. This tends to be the main reason they act out.
- 💪Confidence: I have worked with so many different types of dogs/ temperaments, I am not scared, they can sense that confidence, and they tend to trust faster. More confidence= less fear.
- 💕Emotional Support: having owners apart of the process really makes a huge difference. When taken to the vet/groomers, the environment is already scary- your dog will lean on you for support. Then the vet takes them away and that support is taken from them. They go into flight/fight mode and most likely will act out out of fear. That is why I encourage my clients to be apart of the process, offer emotional support, and help build that confidence in their dog.

If you've tried everything in the books and want to help give your dog a better experience during a trim- I may be just what you're looking for!

Did you know all my bandanas are locally made by... my mom!! Mama rebel hard at work making some new bandana patterns. You can add-on a bandana to your mobile appt for only $2, get a free bandana when you upgrade to a package, or you can grab one for sale at a few market locations during the season. (There are only certain market locations I can sell bandanas at due to other vendors who already sell dog accessories/ bandanas)
Hope you like our new seasonal bandanas!

Check out this funky dew claw I did today!
There's never a true answer to why nails grow in weird, but most of the time it is due to trauma to the nail (they ripped it out), or it never grew in correctly at birth.
I've even seen a handful of funky dew claws that grow back after a surgical removal 😳
Happy I was able to get this one as short as I did or it may have eventually got caught on something!

🐶🐶Fida and Miro (Rhodesian Ridgebacks): My fav Ridgeback siblings! I have a Ridgeback mix myself, so I love meeting others of the same breed 😍

🐶Freya (doodle): Lots of butt wiggles and pounce stands- all she wanted was to play! She was disappointed I still did the trim lol

🐶Oliver (cattle mix puppy): First nail trim ever! He was a little nervous, as some puppies are, but he had tons of treats and lick mats to keep him busy. Give it up for Oliver, he was so brave!

🐶Marley (black lab): Showing everyone her new nails and that I didn't in fact cut her toes off like she thought I was doing 😂

Monday's suck... but this review doesn't!
Ashafrash aka the land hippo really gave me a run for my money- but I'm always up for a challenge 😉 When dogs are put in situations they don't want to be in, they naturally go into Fight (aggression) or Flight (physical removal). Ash was all flight and, thankfully, no fight. He physically tried avoiding the situation by trying to run or break the restraint we had him in. After a few minutes of unsuccessful flight, they get tired and give up. That gives me a small window of time to go in and trim as much as I can until the adrenaline comes back.

Does this sound like your dog? Trust me, you're not alone!
- Good news: The more often a trim is done, they realize there is no reason to flight and the physical fight will lessen.
- Pro tip: Offering treats or toys during a trim can help positively reinforce them. There are some dogs who get too over stimulated during the trim, but will take the treat afterwards.

Either way, a nail trim is absolutely necessary for your dogs overall health. For some, sedation is the only way, but always last resort. If you're not having luck at a vet/ groomers, having someone come to the house can be a game changer.
So what are you waiting for? Call me already!

Tons of cuties for this week's Rebel Pack!
First week of wobbling to your front door in my boot 😫Thank you for your patience, understanding, and concern. A lot of you have been following my foot/ankle journey and have been so helpful with shoe and doctor recs- thank you! I go in next week to see my primary, so hopefully I'll get answers. It's been feeling stronger and less pain each day which is a great sign- cause I def don't have time for this with market season just around the corner 🤦‍♀️
Anyways, enough about my feet, lots of questions about market season. I will be returning mid October (I can confirm dates hopefully by next week). When I figure out my dates/locations I will post my schedule!
Thanks for another great week, I have tomorrow Sunday off and I'll be back at it Monday. If you're new here- welcome to the Rebel Pack 🪐🐶
