Don’t forget your why.

We unconditionally commit ourselves to this sport. We sacrifice enormous parts of our lives, and ourselves because we are so passionate about what we love.

But whilst we work, grind and graft to become the best riders and owners we believe our horses deserve, we sometimes forget the most important thing...we forget why.

We do it because once upon a time, a little kid fell in love with a horse and never looked back.

We do it because these animals bring us incomparable happiness.

They lift us up from the darkest of places and they give us a reason to get out of bed.

They push us, challenge us and shape us into better people by teaching us lessons we’d never learn anywhere else.

They unlock a whole part of us that we never knew existed. A stubborn, determined, strong willed part that refuses to give up.

They keep us grounded, reminding us that sometimes even though certain things may be out of our control, our own actions and emotions never are.

They feed our soul.

We have one of the best Purina Equine Reps. If anyone needs a new feeding program Sage has been amazing to work with and has been awesome about answering all of our questions. All of our training horses get Purina products. Purina has so much research to back just why their products work.

Starting 2 year olds isn’t for the faint of heart, but it’s a process that gives a lot of rewards. When you watch them go from scared and flighty to finding peace in your presence and trusting you are there to help.

Get serious about what you are good at.

God didn't create you to be miserable at a job that sucks the life out of you.
You were not created to spend your days looking for something more, trying to find your identity in the daily grind.

God gave you gifts-- in your heart, in your hands, in your head... Don't waste them. Don't hide them.

Pick up the pen, the camera, the rope, the paint, and get to it.

Get serious about what fills you with curiosity and passion. Take a class, read a book, watch a video and learn! Ask questions. Practice. Make time to get better. Share your beautiful light with the world.

Embrace your gifts. For your heart. For your soul. For yourself.

Get serious about what you are good at, and do it.
