Family, horses, and hard work, that’s what it’s all about.
The Grandkids had a great time at the Butler County Fair this year, watching them put in the time and effort with the horses, and it sure paid off. Proud to say they brought home some trophies and Karsyn brought home a Grand Champion ribbon!

From the afternoon and evening practices, dusty boots, and learning patience in the arena. It’s more than just showing horses for me, it’s building memories that last a lifetime. I know my parents would be proud.

Today, we honor not just any father, but Donald Croghan, the heart and soul behind Croghan Paint Horses. A true cowboy, a horseman through and through, and a man whose legacy is as bold and beautiful as the paint horses he raised.

Donald’s love for horses ran deep, but his love for family ran even deeper. Whether it was in the show ring or out on the farm, he led with integrity, grit, and an unmatched passion for the western way of life. The traditions he started still guide us today every hoofbeat, every handshake, every saddle cinched.

Thank you, Dad, for blazing the trail and showing us what it means to live with purpose, pride, and heart.
