Greene County Animal Resource Hub This page has become a resource page for local shelters, lost and found pets, vaccine clinics, and anything pertaining to animals in Greene county.

We are a 501(c)3 a nonprofit organization. All expenses come out of our own pockets, fundraisers, and donations. 100% of all donations and money collected from fundraisers goes towards the care of our rescue animals. We have no paid employees and no one is on salary. We are all volunteers. We are an "open door" rescue, that means we will take in any animal regardless of age, health, or temperament. We do not have "set" hours and are willing to help 24/7. We are a NO KILL shelter.

Hey, name is Houdini!! I got my name when I ran from the humane society staff for 2 weeks prior to getting my own room. Now that I am safe, they take good care of me. I love people and I'm full of energy in a small body. I have a spunky personality and I'm ready to go on an adventure anytime. I have been at the humane society since November 2025 and I am 3 years old now. I like other female dogs but not so much other male dogs. I just completed heartworm treatment and am ready for a home of my own!!
