Sophie is a 4 year old, long haired, F, GSD. Sophie is currently in heat, but afterwards she will be spayed. After her procedure she will be ready for her new family.

Sophie would excel with an active family as an only dog. Though she enjoys to play with other dogs and doesn't have the tinest mean bone in her, she plays rudely. Other dogs do not like how bouncy she is when she plays and that makes them angry quickly. My other shepherds are much more serious than what she is, I'm sure thats the biggest problem. Sophie thinks life is all sunshine and rainbows.

Sophie is excitable in the beginning, but after she has had her chance to run maybe 5 minutes she is ready to lay down. Sophie is great around kids of all ages including babies. Though she is excitable, I can't remember a time when she has knocked down one of my kids. She usually slows down, licks them, gets her pet, then off she goes. Sophie is also good with visitors and going to the vet. The best way to describe her is she is a golden retriever stuck in a GSD body. Our vet would agree.

Sophie isn't house trained, but could quickly be house trained as she is crate trained. She runs our 5 acre property during the day and is kenneled in our climate controled building at night. Her basic skills are a little rusty, but when I need her to sit, lay down, or come she will. Sophie is wiggly to be groomed, but shows no aggression through the process. She self loads in the car and LOVES to swim. Sophie is non reactive to dogs and people in public. She is wireless fence trained and e collar trained. Sophie likes me and other women (no female aggression at all), but when given the choice she prefers men. I'm chopped liver when my husband is around.

PM for further details or to schedule a meet and greet.

Should be ready to place in June.

Sadie is still looking for her perfect family. She would be ideal for a family or individual that doesn't have young kids at their home full time. She respects and loves my oldest daughter (11 yrs old), but doesn't respect my younger kids. She easily gets stressed with young kids and will nip. She is not the type of dog you hug or kiss in the face. We don't do that with any of our dogs, but I know many do. Sadie's uncomfortableness and nipping at kids is her only fault.

Sadie almost a total package, minus the kid issue. She is house trained, crate trained, on leash trained, off leash trained with and without an e collar, self loads in a vehicle, and grooms easily minus her wiggles. Sadie has been taken everywhere since we have had her at 8 weeks old: state parks, camping, jeep rides, pet friendly stores, etc. She is non-reactive and is polite in public.

I am reducing my pack, so I will have a couple dogs looking for their family. They are priced to sell quick, but will need to be in specific homes. I will have a female GSD and a female mini australian shepherd looking for new homes.

Sadie, 1.5 yr old, spayed F, mini australian shepherd, about 30 pounds. She knows basic commands, is e collar trained, house trained, crate trained, travels well, and is cat and dog friendly. Her best friend is a cat. Sadie has been everywhere from camping to pet friendly stores with us.

The only fault she has is young children stress her out and after working with her for well over a year to adjust her it isn't working. Sadie needs to go to a home with no young kids or kids that are teenagers that will respect her boundaries at all times. She is not a cuddly dog and doesn't like kids in her face, she will lunge and nip. Other than that she is great with adults and my 11 year old daughter.

Sadie needs a family that is active, has ample room to allow her to run, and has basic understandings on how to handle a dog. She is easy to handle, but as any dog does, she needs a family that isn't a push over and will keep her in line.

It will be hard to let her go, but it is the best choice for her and our family. If you scroll you will see plently of pictures and videos of Sadie with our pack, clients dogs, etc.
