Gemma came into rescue with her puppies last May, Gemma herself, scared of the world around her.

She would alligator roll and look for any way to slip a harness or leash, and was terrified by the presence of another dog.

Over the coming months, Gemma bit by bit came more out of her shell, eventually improving enough where she could start to attend events and meet new volunteers.

Today, Gemma found her new family....one who will give her the patience, love, and time she needs to acclimate to an entirely new world around her. A family who will help her grow into the best dog she can be.... in her own time.

She is 4 months old and ready for her forever home!

She loves other dogs and loves to play. She's great with kids and working on house training and crate training. She is going to be a medium to large sized pup full grown.
