Full Service Groomer
Your price always includes:
shampoo and conditioner, blowout, brushout, leave-in conditioner, haircut/trim, nail clip/grind, ear cleaning. Peace, Paws & Harmony specializes in customizing our grooming process to your dog's needs. The answer is no, we do not. Cat grooming is a very specialized service and we encourage you to speak with your veterinarian about your cat’s needs

. VACCINATION POLICY: The rabies vaccination is required by law. All pets MUST have a CURRENT rabies vaccination in order for us to care for them. We are unable to groom any pets that do not have a current rabies vaccination. If your dog cannot be vaccinated for rabies due to health reasons, we will confirm that with your vet and groom your dog at our discretion. Other vaccinations may be recommended by your vet, and you should definitely understand what those are, and why your dog needs them, but rabies is the only thing we absolutely require.

Friends and clients - this one is personal and we know it's a big ask.

Most of you know Regan, and may have seen her dog Maverick at the shop. Well, about 2 weeks ago, their world was absolutely rocked with multiple health emergencies. Details in the gofundme, which is current as of this past weekend.

As of today 8/19/2025, it has since been discovered that Maverick is anemic on top of everything else. The good news is, he is stable enough to be home, but with round the clock care and meds. Regan has a great support team rotating through to help with meds, going out, wound care, etc. But costs continue to mount.

Maverick is an amazing, sweet, very good boy and Regan is one of the best dog people we know - she has never hesitated to help any dog she can. (Or goose, if you look at her most recent rescue). If you can spare anything at all, share, pray, send the good vibes and energy, it sure would be appreciated! Thank you!

We are looking into some dog sport fundraisers, a raffle, and anything else that might help. We will keep everyone updated.

PET OWNERS: Beware of Excessive Heat!

Hey lovely pet parents! As we experience hotter temperatures, it's vital to keep our furry companions safe and comfortable. Here are a few crucial things to remember:

1. Hot Concrete: Always be cautious about walking your dog on concrete, asphalt, or other dark surfaces during hot weather. These surfaces absorb heat and can become much hotter than the surrounding air, potentially burning your pet's sensitive paws. Test the concrete by placing the back of your hand on it for 5 seconds. If it's too hot for your hand, it's too hot for their paws!

2. Brachycephalic Breeds: Dogs and cats with flat faces or short noses, like Pugs, Bulldogs, Persians, and Himalayans, are called brachycephalic breeds. Due to their unique anatomy, they can struggle more than other pets to breathe, especially in the heat. This makes them particularly vulnerable to heatstroke and respiratory distress. Always ensure they have a cool, shaded place to rest and access to fresh water.

3. Hydration is Key: Regardless of breed or species, always ensure that your pet has access to fresh and cool water. Dehydration can happen quickly in high temperatures.

4. Shade & Shelter: If your pets are outdoors, make sure they have a cool, shaded place to rest away from the direct sun. This can be a tree shade, a canopy, or even a cool room indoors.

5. Never Leave Pets in Cars: Even with windows cracked open, the inside of a car can turn deadly in just minutes. Always avoid leaving your pets in the car, even if you think it'll be "just for a minute."

Remember, our pets rely on us to keep them safe. As the temperatures rise, let's ensure we're taking every precaution to protect them from the dangers of excessive heat. Spread the word, and let's keep our fur babies happy and healthy! :feet::heart:

Our Story

Peace, Paws & Harmony specializes in customizing our grooming process to your dog's needs. We do not promise a pick-up time and work at the pace that makes grooming the most comfortable for your dog. Some dogs may like to spend the day with us and some dogs might be in a hurry to go home! Older pets may need more breaks and puppies need time to become acclimated to how this whole grooming thing works!

We do not have an open grooming environment for dogs to be loose in the shop. We feel this is too stressful for dogs who may not know each other. For those dogs who would rather not be kenneled while they are with us, we can schedule an express grooming, with a later drop off and early pick up. We also have two spacious therapy rooms, where your dog can wait for you in a more lounge-like atmosphere. Our goal is to make the grooming experience as stress-free as possible, for you AND your dog!

All grooms, baths and nail trims are by appointment only - please consider making your appointments at least 2 weeks in advance. QUICK REMINDER ON OUR VACCINATION POLICY: All pets MUST have a CURRENT rabies vaccination in order for us to care for them. If you do not have your pet's current rabies certificate, we will call your veterinarian or Lake County Animal Control to verify that they are current. We are unable to groom any pets that do not have a current rabies vaccination. The rabies vaccination is required by law - although we recommend other vaccinations, we understand that should be decided between you and your vet, based on what is best for your pet's particular situation. If your dog cannot be vaccinated for rabies due to health reasons, we will confirm that with your vet and groom your dog at our discretion.
