Thank you to all who produced a wonderful Tulsa Area Pony Show! Nancy Cota, Jordyn Nash, and I only took 3 ponies (Lazy J Court Jester, Lazy J Pop Star, Lazy J Sweet Magnolia) but there were a total of 10 Bailef offspring and 2 grandkids showing. What a treat to see all of the owners, riders, lessees be successful winning many championships and lots of ribbons. Congratulations to Addi and Lazy J Starry Night, Skylar and Lazy J Prince of Roses, Gigi and Lazy J Star Witness LOM/AOE, Ellie and Lazy J The Thunder Rolls, Stella, Finn, Georgy and Lazy J The Judge, Lazy J Ellie Rose and Lazy J Top Notch. Thank you to Ella Polus, Stella, Aiden and Andrew for showing ponies for us. As always, we are indebted to Jaci Baxter for all of her work with Pop Star and taking such good care of us. Our highlight was Lazy J Pop Star being Supreme Champion And Reserve Supreme Champion gelding. Congratulations to Jaci Baxter on her WHW Truly Charmed being Grand Champion Half Welsh as well as winning many performance championships. As always we were honored to have Jordyn make it to the show and take care of us! Thank you to all! My apologies if I missed someone.

We enjoyed the SC Welsh Spring Fling Show and Lazy J off spring did well 😊 we are so proud of ALL of them 😊

Lazy J Pop Star was Double Supreme Champion gelding, Lazy J Sweet Magnolia was Champion and Reserve Champion Section B and Reserve Supreme. Lazy J Ellie Rose was Champion and Reserve Half-Welsh mare. Pop Star is beginning his performance career and handled his classes like a pro with Jaci Baxter and Jordyn Nash. Ellie and Lazy J Court Jester got 1sts in trail. I have to brag on Stella Glaves who rode her Lazy J the Judge to a couple of Championships and she’s done all of his training. Also, their yearling gelding, Lazy J Top Notch got a first in halter. CWP Bailef’s SaltNLite was 2, 3 in a large Half Welsh filly class.
More Bailef offspring were champions as well. WHW The Latest Buzz was Grand Champion Half Welsh and close behind him was Custom Ride OVE. They both won performance championships, too. Lazy J Prince of Roses and his girl did really well also. Congratulations to all the ponies & riders !! I know I missed some🙃 We couldn’t have made the trip without all the help of so many and Mrs Nancy 🥰

Bailef will be available A.I. during the month of April at Sulphur River Vet Clinic in Commerce, Texas. At age 25, there may not be many more opportunities. Bailef is still siring champions and has been the nation’s leading sire for Half-Welsh ponies for 11 of the last 13 years and is always in the top 8 of purebred sires. He has his individual and sire LOM/AOE/OD as well as his sire AOH/AOD/OC for Half-Welsh. Flying Diamond The Bailef LOM/AOE/OD/LOM/AOH/AOD/OC/LOM/AOE/OD was the very first Welsh of the Year and 2 daughters, Lazy J Starry Night AOE was Welsh of the Year in 2021,and Lazy J Starry Witness LOM/AOE was Co Welsh of the Year in 2024.

2024 was a fantastic year for myself and offspring 😇 As a 25 yr old stallion I was awarded my Sire Order of the Dragon, am National High Point Sire for Half-Welsh offspring again (11 of the last 13 years), and placed 3rd as a Section B sire. Lazy J Star Witness LOM/AOE was awarded her Award of Excellence and was named Co-Welsh of the Year, (I was the first Welsh of the year in 2012 and daughter, Lazy J Starry Night was awarded the honor in 2021). Star Witness’s talented rider, Stella Glaves, was High Point Junior 12 and under! Lazy J ponies won 9 Championships, 9 Reserve Championships plus many 3rds and 4ths in many events from Leadline to Hunters, Reining, and Dressage Suitability. Several offspring won Open Awards Championships and Medals! We are so very proud of the owners, riders, and ponies. Congratulations to all and Thank you!!
