For over thirty years, Companion Animal Hospital has had the standard of care and compassion of the entire hospital as an excellent example of how a veterinary practice can strive to enrich and improve the lives of their patients and pet parents. The Shevock's hope is to continue with the leadership of the practice with the help of the already amazing doctors and staff at Companion Animal Hospital
to lovingly care for your pets for many years to come. Dr. Shevock and Bryan both grew up in Virginia and moved to Michigan about 15 years ago. Dr. Shevock attended Virginia Tech for her Bachelors of Science degree in Agriculture and Applied Economics with a minor in Animal and Poultry Science before attending Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. Following veterinary school, Dr. Shevock completed an additional year of specialty training in a large emergency/specialty hospital in New Jersey, honing her surgical and medical knowledge. She spent nearly a decade working as an after-hour emergency doctor throughout the southeast Michigan area. As much as she loved emergency medicine, she has decided to move to general practice to start forming the long lasting relationships she certainly missed while working emergency. In her spare time, Dr. Shevock is busy with her son Parker, along with dogs, Toby and Baily. She also loves to spend time at the barn with her horse Bentley. It is with great enthusiasm that Dr. Shevock embarks on the journey of getting to know all of you and your beloved pets. She plans to bring caring hands and a sincere attention to detail to every opportunity she has to care for your cherished furry family members. Along with the other four doctors leading a 30+ member team, Companion Animal Hospital offers experienced and skilled veterinarians and staff, state of the art medicine and a beautifully updated, spacious facility. All combined in providing superior quality medicine, outstanding customer service and giving back to the community as our top priority!
