All breeds are welcome. She is a successful Instructor, Trainer, Competitor and Breeder. As an instructor, "My goals are to strengthen the bond between dog and human, striving for a peaceful coexistence, mutual understanding and trust. When these are met, success follows." Mary has personally owned and trained breeds in 5 of the 7 recognized AKC groups. She currently owns/co-owns 10 Border Collies

and actively competes in obedience, agility, conformation, rally and herding. She is an active member of Greater Lincoln Obedience Club (GLOC), the American Kennel Club (AKC) and the Border Collie Society of America (BCSA).
