We will be playing on our new field this Spring and Summer seasons.
There are a few loose ends being completed to wrap the project including waiting on grass to grow.
A big thank you to everyone who has donated time and money for this project! Sponsorships will be recognized at the field. A BIG THANK YOU to Mike Roark who with his time, expertise, and donations has made this field better than we ever imagined. We will have something that will be used by many generations of Lincoln Youth! There are more official thanks and recognition to come, but we just wanted to give an update.

Youth volleyball sign up starts today through 8/20.

This is for Lincoln students grades 3rd - 6th.

The cost is $35. Pay online after completing the Google form.

Please consider being part of a new Volleyball committee to help make decisions and help at home games. Parents volunteering help make things successful for the kids.

Good Luck today!

State Bound!
First of all, Congratulations to Coach Burke, Coach Sanders, Boys Basketball Team, Cheerleaders, Cheer Coach Hinrichs, Pep Band, Pep Club and loyal fans for advancing to the Final 4! I list all of these groups because I truly feel that they all played a significant role in this wonderful accomplishment! The last time we made it to the Final 4 was in 1985 and it’s ironic that we recognized that team at one of our home games this year. This coming week is going to be very hectic.

There will be no P/T Conferences this week, they will be postponed to a later date. School Musical is being moved to March 22 @ 6:00pm and March 23rd @ 2:00pm.

In order to prepare for the festivities, we have to think about all of the possibilities.

Scenario 1:
We play Eugene at 8:00pm on Wednesday and win….Great! We will play for 1st at 8:00pm on Thursday. No worries at all. Everyone can go and not have to miss school. We don’t have to worry about subs or buses.

Scenario 2:
We play Eugene at 8:00pm on Wednesday and we do not win…..Bummer! Then our next goal is to win our final game of the year playing for 3rd place at 2:00pm on Thursday. Our Pep Club Students have been insane and so supportive. But I don’t have enough buses or drivers to make this possible. So Thursday will be an early out….10:30am. All students, pep bus kids and going home kids will have a sack lunch.
On Thursday Only, we are inviting our students in grades 4-6 to join in on the pep club festivities as well. Elementary staff will be riding the elementary pep bus and supervising these students. Pep Bus kids do not have to pay. Mr. Curtis has organized a way to get it all funded through donations.
****A post and message will go out late Wednesday night if this scenario would occur causing an early out on Thursday.****

We will share more information regarding pep bus sign up and transportation times, etc.

Our students are making memories that will last a lifetime. It is a special time for our students, parents, and community. We are very proud of all of our kids. We hope you can support them too!
