We love seeing goats! Earlier this week Dr Dayton helped some goats by doing some dental work! The goats were packing their food. We floated their teeth and actually extracted some loose mobile teeth! We love what we do and are happy that with the addition of Dr Grace we can provide more mobile services!

We have exciting news that we have been keeping under wraps!!! Meet Dr. Grace Montgomery!
After many years in the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Grace Montgomery is excited to be back on the East Coast, where she spent much of her childhood.

Dr. Grace completed Bachelor of Science degrees in Microbiology and Animal Sciences from Washington State University, where she also earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2024. Her professional interests include internal medicine, feline medicine, and the care of small ruminants, camelids, and pet pigs. Dr. Grace developed an interest in large animals as a member of a llama and alpaca 4-H club, and through hands-on experience working at the WSU dairy farm during her undergraduate years.

Dr. Grace particularly enjoys working with hobby farmers and pet livestock owners, and is committed to developing practical, personalized care plans that work for each animal and the people who care for them.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Grace enjoys arts and crafts, cooking, reading, spending time at the beach, and doting on her Standard Poodle and cat.

Attention horse owners! There have been several horse deaths in the Kent county area related to a feed contamination issue. The grain contained mold and created neurological signs in the horses prior to their deaths. This is a local feed not a national brand. Please read the following article or contact us for more information.

This article still doesn’t name the supplier, but indicates more specific location of horse deaths and also says the majority affected are Amish horses:

At least 16 horses have died, mostly in northwestern Kent County, from a disease that affects the brain and nervous system
