Established in 1989, we strive to provide excellent and compassionate animal care that is individualized to meet the needs of each patient and client, in a friendly small town atmosphere. Small animal medicine, surgery, dentistry and diagnostics are performed at the clinic. We have mobile services available for li

vestock and equine services, with limited haul in facilities for large animals. Our goal is to provide quality and compassionate care at an affordable price. Our hours are:
Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays by appointment only. Wednesdays and Fridays Walk ins: 8:30 am to 9:30 am

We are excited to announce Dr. Maria James will be joining Alcona Animal Clinic in July.

Dr. James will be a valuable addition to our team. Dr. James has been with Saginaw Valley Equine Clinic this last year expanding her equine experience to better serve our patients.

We will not have a Doctor in the office on Saturday, April 25th. The office will be open until 10:30 am for pre approved medication pick up.

Friday, April 3, 2026 the office will be closing at 12:00 noon in observance of Good Friday. The office will be back open on Saturday, April 4th at 8:00 am for walk ins.
