Special visitor alert!

We had the sweetest little guest, Gus the ferret, stop by for a spa day before his big surgery. 🛁💙

Gus enjoyed a nice, gentle water bath so he'd be clean & and ready for his surgery. We know everyone here at Pet Central Station wished this handsome little guy a smooth surgery, a speedy recovery, and lots of extra treats and cuddles afterward. 🦦💙

☀️It's HOT out there! ☀

With temperatures soaring, don't forget that if it's too hot for your bare feet, it's too hot for your dog's paws. Hot pavement, asphalt, and even concrete can quickly cause painful burns and blisters.

Here are a few ways to keep your furry friend safe:
🐶 Walk early in the morning or later in the evening when the ground has cooled.
🐾 Test the pavement with the back of your hand for 5 seconds. If you can't comfortably keep it there, it's too hot for your dog's paws.
💧 Always keep fresh, cool water available at home and bring water with you on walks or outings.
🌳 Stick to grassy or shaded areas whenever possible.
🚗 Never leave your pet in a parked vehicle, even with the windows cracked, temperatures can become dangerous within minutes.

Watch for signs of heat exhaustion, including excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or difficulty walking. If you notice these symptoms, move your pet to a cool area, offer small amounts of water, and contact your veterinarian immediately.

A little extra caution goes a long way in keeping our four-legged family members happy, healthy, and safe this summer. Stay cool out there! ❤️🐾

Elvis has been coming to Lyndsey since he was just a little puppy, and he's always been such a good boy for his grooms! 🐾❤️ Over the years, he's built so much trust and confidence, making every grooming appointment a calm and positive experience. Consistent grooming isn't just about keeping your dog looking great, it helps prevent painful mats and tangles, keeps their skin and coat healthy, and teaches them that being brushed, bathed, dried, and trimmed is nothing to be afraid of.
