Erin N. McMillan, 38 of Alvo, NE passed away Monday, June 22, 2026 at her home. She was born February 10, 1988 in Tecumseh, NE to Thomas and Ellen (Lamoureux) McMillan. She attended grade school in Tecumseh and graduated from Northeast High School in Lincoln in 2006. Erin worked as a dog groomer at Brandy’s Pet Salon in Lincoln.

Erin was an animal lover at heart. She took in many stray dogs, raised chickens, geese and had countless pet reptiles. She loved spending time outdoors in nature, especially in the Rocky Mountains. Erin was also an avid paranormal activity enthusiast.

Erin is survived by her parents, Thomas & Ellen McMillan; siblings.
Michael McMillan (Michelle Gott), Amy Sacca LaPage, Kathy Pavelka (Roger Nyhoff), Rachel Beckstead (Dewey); boyfriend, Chris Thompson; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Herb, Maxine and Dorothy McMillan; maternal grandparents, Paul & Alice Lamoureux; brother-in-law, Dennis “Reed” LaPage Jr.; nephew, Taylor McMillan; aunts & uncles.

Celebration of life at a later date.

Our amazing groomer Erin, has passed away🥺.
