Hi everyone! Update in case you thought I dropped off the face of the earth!
I had been busy dividing dahlia tubers, starting plants from seed, and planning for the year. Things were going okay until I got a knee injury that prevented me from being able to walk or bend down for about a month. I was finally able to have surgery yesterday; I am doing well! I'm starting PT soon and hoping to get back to running around as usual. All this to say, I plan to get back on the flower bandwagon as soon as my body will allow. On the bright side, I have been able to enjoy my peonies instead of selling them all this year! My parents are wonderful and planted all of my seedlings. Unfortunately, the lisianthus won't be as great as last year due to w**d pressure that I have been unable to deal with. There will be some, though! As far as dahlia tubers go, I was unable to offer them to you this year due to my injury and them not being the quality I want to give you. I do have plans to still grow them all out in order to increase stock and have them available again next year. For my wholesale florists/designers, I hope to be back in the near future with some offerings through rooted farmers/via the Flatland Floral Collective. Enjoy the lovely pics of my time being laid up! Hope to see you all soon!
Also, shout out to my amazing husband, Matt. He has been the best caretaker, as usual!😘
