Farm Fridays continue with a few sessions left as summer winds down! The kids have a blast learning to ride, learning about the farm, swimming, playing, and eating lots of popsicles. Don’t forget to reserve a spot for your kiddo.

Meet RHF Highlander, aka Pickles. 7 yo Overo paint thoroughbred stallion. He will be pairing up with a few of our mares and is available for breeding. Pictures of some of his babies to follow!

**we are applying sunscreen daily while the sunburn from his previous home heals!

In addition to some light breeding, this boy is going to jump the moon!!

We are into our 1st month of training for our September show. Focus this month is:

Independent rider position.
Improve rhythm and balance.
Increase horse responsiveness to leg and seat.
Straightness.
Confidence for horse and rider over poles and fences.

Next month we move to gymnastics!

We interpreted our Wild West Day as a day of exploring frontiers. We tested out new trails and roads with our group today on a LOOOOONNNNGGG trail ride. We founded a new town called Big Johnville. We also had lessons and of course swim time. Videos on the next post.
