Little cousin Anna Kate- the next generation of SPH -is currently gaining confidence in her riding with learning a quiet seat to flow with the horse, quiet body and quiet hands. Fearless with a passion, love and talent of these amazing athletes, just like big cousin Aubrey.

What better horse to learn it on than on one of our top dog rope horses!?! DUDE!!

With too many trailers, a couple need to go.

Been used for one week on the rodeo road while our new trailer was finishing up being built and we sold the one we were in while on the road and needed one asap! lol
Here is one that was a leftover model from the prior year that was on the lot and was exactly what we needed for that week gap. It was purchased late April last year (2025).

Love the tons of storage, love the deep wide mangers-they have so much room-, easy swing out back tack, extruded sides and more. The inside is open and roomy!
Price was $89k new and it was on sale for $65k BUT we will take $45k FIRM for a non hassle, show up with money, and take it home. It’s sitting here not doing a darn thing but taking up space.

This is a paid position, with compensation based on experience.

However, this role could develop into a riding position in the future, depending on skill level and progression.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
🐴 Handling colts
🐴 Catching and saddling horses
🐴 Operating the Eurociser & keeping it raked
🐴 Washing & grooming
🐴 Cooling out horses
🐴 Learning and applying therapies
🐴 Following daily instructions and individualized plans for each horse
🐴 Working independently when needed
🐴 Possible weekend travel to assist at larger events

✔️ Thorough, correct work with attention to detail

Big changes around the farm lately, please help us welcome our two newest four-legged recruits, Cooper and Sadie! They’ve already settled right in, chasing sunshine and keeping an eye on the horses. 🐶🐴
And of course, no introduction needed for Berkley, he’s the legend that runs this place and makes sure everyone knows it. 😎

🔥 FIREBALL 🔥
This exceptional yearling is sure making one heck of a stallion prospect. Even growing in the awkward stages he is just absolutely gorgeous to look. At just 17 months old he is already standing 15.1h and expected to hit 16h (or more) just like his silblings.
His siblings are futurity, derby, open show and pro rodeo winning and money earners. We expect no different out of Fireball.

Fireball has great bone, size, mind, athleticism, and trainability that we strive for in our program. Let’s not forget that gorgeous color of his. You don’t see very many palomino direct DTF stallions out there!

Fireball is by the legendary DASH TA FAME and out of the great talented producing mare Acquire A Fire, by Firewater Flit.

He is in training with Leslie Cole at Sunflower Performance Horses.

📣 The time has come for what i have considered the hardest to keep, yet most, super exciting announcement 📣

This week, we officially welcome Leslie Cole as she settles here in Missouri with us at Sunflower Performance Horses 🐴 🌻

“Lou Lou” has been a HUGE part of our program for several years now breaking colts, training, seasoning and the list goes on.. she is simply nothing short of amazing with horses and as a person and most importantly, friend.
She brings so much knowledge, credibility, and success with her. She will be an amazing Director/Manager (yes she will still be training and if you want a spot… you might want to message this page and get on the list -as she will be accepting very limited horses).

We have more announcements as we continue to grow and improve our facility…. But for now… we just HAD to share this because we are so dang excited!
And if you know us, you know we like to play as hard as we work (after work course! 🤪) so I can’t wait for the shenanigans we will get ourselves into together😅

We have grown such an amazing program with amazing people in our village.
