PAW PATROL: As our heat wave builds, please be cognizant of where you're walking with your furry friends. While air temperatures might only be in the 90s, both asphalt and concrete will be MUCH hotter, enough to burn your pups paws.

🌞 **Heat Alert for Pet Parents!** 🌞

Hey everyone! Today's temperatures are expected to soar, so please take extra care of your furry babies! 🐶🐱

Here’s what to watch out for:
- Excessive panting or drooling
- Lethargy or weakness
- Vomiting or diarrhea
- Bright red gums or tongue
- Difficulty walking or confusion

Tips to keep your pets safe:
- Keep them indoors during peak heat (10am–4pm)
- Provide plenty of fresh, cool water! I always drop some ice cubes in! 🧊
- Never leave pets in parked cars
- Walk dogs early morning or late evening
- Offer cool, shaded spots to rest

If you notice any signs of heatstroke, contact your vet immediately!

Stay cool and give your pets some extra love and water tomorrow! 💦🐾

Stop using these terms interchangeably ❌

Saying a nanny is a babysitter is like calling a wife a girlfriend. Nope!

Nannies have more responsibilities, are integrated into the family consistently, and are raising the children.

Babysitters are more sporadic, they entertain the kiddos and provide temporary relief for the parents.

Both are important! But they are not the same.
