Good Friday is the day Christians set aside to remember the crucifixion of Jesus Christ—the Son of God—who willingly gave His life on the cross for the forgiveness of sins.🖤

According to Scripture, all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and the penalty for sin is death. Yet in His mercy, God sent His Son to bear that penalty on our behalf. Jesus, who was without sin, suffered and died so that we might be reconciled to God and receive the gift of eternal life through faith in Him.

“But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” — John 3:16

Good Friday is solemn because it remembers the suffering and sacrifice of Christ—but it is also filled with hope, because His death was not the end. Through the cross, we are offered forgiveness, redemption & new life.

May this day lead us to reflect deeply, repent sincerely, and trust fully in the saving work of Jesus Christ. ✝️

Finn and Rugby would like to report that we hit the trails today — and 30-something degrees in March didn’t slow us down one bit.

Crisp PA air, muddy paws, and endless smells to investigate… basically their version of a perfect day. Every turn was a new adventure, every stick was the stick, and every few steps turned into “wait, I need to sniff this real quick.”

We mixed in some fetch when we got back to the pack house, with wide open spots turning into full sprint mode. Rugby was flying, Finn was negotiating the return policy as usual, and both of them were having a great time. Finn even beat Rugby to the ball a few time! He was like, see little brother, I still have it in me to beat you 🤣 🎾

Sticks were collected, proudly paraded around, and occasionally stolen — because what’s a trail day without a little friendly chaos?

These boys didn’t care about the cold for a second. Just happy, active, fully engaged pups soaking up every minute outside.

Trail days like this are what it’s all about — exercise, enrichment, and a whole lot of fun. Finn and Rugby are having an absolute blast, and they’re always ready for more trail buddies to join in.

Meet a couple of my new adorable pup-sitting clients—both golden retrievers, just at very different levels of “toasted” 😂🐾

First up is Finn, the perfectly toasted golden and the big brother of the duo. He’s new to me, but definitely not new to running the show. Calm, cool, and collected, 10/10 snuggle pup… until cookies are involved. Then suddenly, he turns into a full-blown negotiator—hiding shoes, stealing pillows, and creating just enough chaos to make sure you don’t forget his treats 🤣 He knows exactly what he’s doing, and honestly… it’s kind of impressive.

Then there’s Rugby, his “lightly toasted” little brother, bringing a completely different level of energy. He’s all zoomies, all the time—bouncing around, turning everything into a game, and making sure there’s never a dull moment. Also a massive cuddler, and loves to steal all the love! Soo jealous of his brother when he gets some Love & Pet time one on one! And he's like me also ma'am, 🐶 and of course, he gets his too!

If Finn💛 is the mastermind, Rugby🤍 is the chaos coordinator

They both eventually powered down after a while, but wow—these boys definitely came in with some ENERGY. Safe to say, they love to play! 🐶🖤🤍💛
