Due to last minute cancelations, we will have a couple of fresh, large (20-25 # @$4/lb) turkeys available for pick up in Carbondale on Tuesday. I can sell them halved, but need to know here by 5 am tmrw (Mon) in order to have them prepared that way. Due to work schedules with other customers, we are planning to deliver to the Co-op Tues late afternoon/evening. The Co-op MAY still have some of their Organic or Free-range turkeys available as well, though supplies were getting low late last week. We will have more turkeys available next month as well, let us know if you are interested. Happy Thanksgiving week, we hope you can enjoy some time off with loved ones.

Like much of our area, we've had buckets of rain this week (9 1/2" at the farm since Sun at 8 am) after having no substantial rain in June. Today we wear it, with a forecast high of 93°.

I'm thankful that we live on a hill, but we think of those who live closer to the beautiful creeks and rivers in our region. They can turn into forces of destruction in the blink of an eye.
