Meet Tiger! Tiger was a stray cat that was lucky to find a kind human to feed him. He took up residence in their garage for feeding. He was likely hit by a car and suffered a broken hip. The Good Samaritan brought him to our vet partner Care Animal Hosptial of Libertyville where he was surgically repaired by Dr. Luaces. Tiger is recovering nicely and will be ready for a foster home soon. He is a purr machine and just the nicest cat! Everyone at the vets office loves him.

Who wants to foster a puppy or two? These three are part of a litter of 10! We will bring in as many as we have foster for. They are in SE Missouri. Mama will be spayed after pups are rescued to stop the cycle. Unfortunately there have been loads of puppies to come from this property - mama’s are each getting spayed. Good news is all the pups from here are sweet and social! Some pups are lab looking - some are fluffier. They are 7-8 weeks old. Arrival is this Saturday. We supply all the necessities and vet care. We also have an adoption event coming up Jan 31 at Harley Davidson in Libertyville which is perfect timing for placement! Applications to foster at 👇

Buggs is a 3-year-old 12lb schnauzer with the sweetest soul. True to his name, he’s as sweet as pie 🍰. He can be a little shy at first, but he truly enjoys meeting new people and warms up quickly. Buggs is a super chill guy—definitely not hyper—and his absolute favorite place to be is curled up in a lap. Don’t be surprised if he hops up before you’re even fully seated!
Buggs is a quiet, gentle boy who rarely barks. He is housebroken and crate trained, making him an easy addition to a home. He’s been around cats and simply ignores them, and he also gets along well with other dogs. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who loves to snuggle, Buggs might be your perfect match. 💙

Every penny helps us continue our mission. Also posted below is our last rescue of 2025, this guy, Tiger was a stray, outdoor cat. He took up residence being fed in a Good Samaritan’s garage. He was hit by a car and needed hip surgery. They brought him to the vet but were unable to afford the surgery. That’s where Placing Paws stepped in. Dr. Luaces at Care Animal Hospotak in Libertyville was able to do surgery Friday afternoon and he is now recovering quietly. He will eventually need a foster or adoptive home.
