Meet Sherman — born 2/27/26 ��Sherman is a 17 week old plott hound mix puppy who is a bundle of love. He is looking for his forever family. Everyone already adores him and he honestly adores everyone, too!��He is a super friendly, lovable puppy who loves meeting new people. All the neighborhood kids come by to see him, and they think he is the best boy ever! He is always ready for attention, cuddles, and playtime.

Meet Lucy! Born around January 12, 2026, this adorable yellow Lab mix is the perfect combination of playful and cuddly. Lucy is a fun-loving pup who enjoys spending her days wrestling and zooming around the yard with her foster siblings, both canine and feline alike. She gets along wonderfully with dogs and kitties, making her a great fit for a variety of homes.

After playtime, Lucy is happiest curled up on the couch soaking up snuggles with her humans. She is potty trained, crate trained, and even loves sleeping with her people at night. Lucy has been an amazing addition to her foster family, and they know shell bring just as much joy, love, and laughter to her forever family!

🐾 Help Franz See a Brighter Future 🐾

Meet Franz, a sweet young dog who was found as a local stray alongside his brother, Hans. While Hans has already found his forever home, Franz is still waiting for his happy ending—and he needs our help.

Franz has a condition called an ocular dermoid, a growth on his eye that actually has hair growing out of it. Yes, you read that right, he has hair growing ON his eyeball (see picture below). Every blink causes irritation and discomfort, and without surgery, he will continue to suffer from chronic eye pain and inflammation.

The surgery to remove the dermoid is estimated to cost $3,000. This procedure will not only relieve Franz's constant irritation but will also greatly improve his quality of life as he waits for a family of his own.

Every donation, no matter the size, brings Franz one step closer to a pain-free future. If you're unable to donate, please consider sharing his story to help us reach more animal lovers.

Sweet Cloud is available for adoption . Here is what his foster mom has to say about him .

Cloud is perfection! Young, happy and hasn’t met a person or dog he doesn’t like. Gets along with my children and all friends that come over. Happy to spend time cuddling with my two small dogs. Potty trained and can be left outside his crate: not destructive at all! Sweet as pie and enjoys cuddling on the couch, running in the backyard, playing with toys and chasing balls you throw for him. Loves to be your constant companion and best friend. Looking for his forever family who loves him as much as he loves those close to him ❤️

Good morning everyone !
We have a litter of puppies we are hoping to bring in July 10 from our rescue partner in the south. They will be between 7-8 weeks old . Mama is a shepherd mix and sweet as can me . She is taking very good care of her babies .

Mama already has a family waiting for her to finish caring for her puppies, and then they are adopting her.

We need fosters willing to foster groups of two puppies due to their young age . We can not bring them in if we don’t have enough fosters.

We provide everything needed to foster: food , crate, treats, some toys . You provide a safe home and love . Fostering is a minimum of two weeks and then until they get adopted . Please respond and submit an application below if you can help us .

Get ready for this announcement! Let’s welcome Spaghetti and Meatball to Placing Paws Rescue!! These adorable littermates are safe in an amazing foster home together . They sure played hard today in the backyard.

Spaghetti is a girl and Meatball is a boy . They are 8 weeks old and absolutely breathtaking. Zoom in and look at their bright blue eyes. We have never seen such magnificent blue eyes before!

These adorable sweethearts will be available for adoption in two weeks, so get your applications in early. We have already started receiving some.

We are also looking for fosters . Being a foster is so rewarding . We provide the food , crate , treats, toys and other items . You provide a loving home until the dog is adopted . Our foster program is a minimum of two weeks and then until the dog is adopted . Below is a foster application .

We are going to try one more time to see if we can find fosters to take these two small breed dogs .

Meet London and Milo: They are 3-4 years old and love people . The are dog friendly and love to play . They have a great disposition . They are only about 12 pounds each .

These boys can be separated . Please comment below and submit the foster application if you are able to foster one of these adorable boys .

Dupage called back and they have more dogs that they need help pulling. They are very full! We can bring them in, if we have fosters . Here is the next lineup :

Daisy- 2 year old Belgian Malinois Mix that is loyal, brilliant and an athletic companion to join your active lifestyle. She has a heart of gold and brains to match. She is the definition of a "velcro dog." Once you earn her trust, she wants nothing more than to be by your side, watching your every move and waiting to see what adventure is next. She is friendly, easy temperament, gentle and dog friendly! Most of all , she loves people! She loves training, lots of pets and cuddles, and walks nicely on her harness.

Syrup: Syrup is 9 months old and friendly with staff and volunteers. Volunteers have noted that she can be jumpy and a little mouthy. She just needs a little training bc she is still learning. She is a little unsure when first meeting a dog, but after walking with them and allowed to warm up, she is all in! She can be a physical player with other dogs, so a dog that appreciates that kind of play is important. They say she is a sweet girl, likes petting and training.

We have been asked by our rescue shelter to pull some of their dogs, because they are so full. Can anyone foster any of these sweet dogs ? They can be separated . Please let us know ASAP here if you can foster one .

Meatball and Spaghetti are 8 week old littermates that were dumped at the shelter because they are an unwanted litter .

London and Milo are brother and sister that were dumped in horrible condition . They were bathed and cleaned up and so happy now .

London is a boy and about 4.5 years old . Milo is his sister and about 3 years old .
