A little maintenance tip for you:
This is the bottom of a refrigerator that has never been cleaned thus affecting the life span of the unit.
I clean mine annually with a fridge brush/dryer vent brush which can be purchased at your local hardware store; Mind you I don't not have any pets.
I remove the front plastic vent cover from the bottom front of the fridge and push and pull the brush back and forth in between the coils. I also have the hose attachment on my vacuum with the skinny nozzle end under there too to help pull the dust out and keep the mess to a minimum.
Note: this is an overturned fridge, please leave yours in the standing and upright position

Here are a few before and after pictures of a recent job did. The client had set up a farm auction and was unable to get the items in the basement out to the yard. We were contracted to get this basement cleared out and all the items place in the yard for the auction.

Do you have white styrofoam around your place? Maybe inside some old stereo boxes? Bag it up and then it can be taken to Abt Electronics in Glenview. They accept the styrofoam for recycling at their location.. BUT, they only accept white styrofaom and NO shipping peanuts. Call them for more details 888..228..5800

These pictures are of a 25' X 15" storage unit we helped a client with in Libertyville. After helping the client with sorting and going through all of his box's, he were able to down size to a 5' X 15' unit. All the items we removed were either donated or recycled.

PAPER BAG DAY

Each July 12, the paper bag is celebrated across the United States on Paper Bag Day. Paper bags are used by millions of people every day.

Readily recyclable, paper bags have been around for many years. American inventor, Francis Wolle, is credited for his patent of the first paper bag machine in 1852. Margaret E. Knight was known to be “the mother of the grocery bag” after her invention, in 1870, of a machine that would cut, fold and past square paper bag bottoms.

Over the years, other inventors have received recognition and/or patents for their inventions of devices that improve the paper bag and/or it’s production.

This is a garage we did as part of a job in the city of Chicago. If you look you will see a couple of wooden ladders in the picture.. We do not donate wooded ladders to charity.For safety reasons, we cut all wooden into pieces and put into our dumpster. Wooded ladders may become soft (dry rotted) and therefor become unsafe to use.
As much as our fathers told us "this is the best ladder money can buy" (maybe back in 1955) for your safety, please do not use wooden ladders.

Clearing out your closets or basement?
Old board games and jigsaw puzzles are recyclable. Just remove the hard plastic or metal game pieces, any vinyl game sheets or mats and dice that may be in the box and toss into the garbage because these items are non-recyclable.
Place the rest of the game/puzzle including the box, game board and any non coated cards into your recycle bin.
