Its with immense sadness that Our House of Hope’s very own Pink Collar Diva, “Friday” has passed away. Fridays story is a true rags to riches one as she went from squalor to the stage in Legally Blonde the Musical in just 5 months following rescue. She and 29 others were saved from a deplorable hoarding situation. Friday has many friends and fans both on and off stage but, she was never ever loved by anyone more than she was by Lisa and her family over the past 15 years. She was loved as deeply as any soul could be…………………

Update 2/6/2025 - we are no longer able to reach SAVE THIS LIFE microchip company - they appear to be shut down - if your pet is registered with them, please be sure to register to another microchip company! There are a few free registries and others that require a small fee! We recommend any of the larger chip companies, those that participate in the AAHA registry. This is imperative to getting your pet home if they go missing!

If your pet's microchip is registered with Save This Life (commonly starting with 991001 or 900164), we strongly recommend registering it with another microchip company.

As of mid-January 2025, accessing owner information or notifying families of found pets linked to Save This Life has become increasingly difficult. We hope this issue is resolved soon, but in the meantime, ensuring your pet’s microchip is linked to a reliable and responsive registry is crucial for reuniting with them quickly if they ever go missing.

2/9/25 Oz Update:
He/We are doing pretty well. He is getting more comfortable with daily routine and familiar faces. For the most part, we can open his enclosure, move food and water bowls around and feed him via full bowl bare handed ( with vigilant eyes, utmost caution and limited room distractions). He still HATES his soaks and any bare handed touching or any touching at all for that matter. Soooooooo while a long way to go, we celebrate each and every baby step, respect his current boundaries and remain optimistic as we move forward.

Behind the scenes:
“Raven” loves foraging in her indoor veggie garden. Raven is currently available for adoption. She is litterbox trained and is socialized. She loves running around the rescue as we work.
