I’ve lost to many animals the past couple of weeks😢part of farm life. But I did find a great home for 2 of my goat babies and sold them to a wonderful couple. My pup ran off tonight and the wonderful community I live in found and and I got him home safely ❤️ there is a difference with farm animals and my dog. If I would have lost my pup forever it would have broke my heart. I lost 2 of my Muscovy ducks and my turkey this past week. I’m sad that are gone but I have to find the silver linings. My Nubian does are off to new pastures and my dog made it home! Happy birthday month. The universe knew I needed my pup to make it home safely and through social media, he was found. There’s a lot of negatives to this platform but positives as well.

My dog killed one of my ducks playing with it. While I was inside getting dinner ready. He’s been with these birds for a while and we haven’t had any issues. I caught him right after it happened so the duck is still fresh. We don’t let things go to waste, so now I’m processing a duck tonight 🤦🏼‍♀️ these were for breeding, not eating so I’m a little bummed. I still have one male and female and as long as nothing happens to them, I should still be able to hatch some ducklings in the spring.

The Muscovy chicks aren’t chicks anymore! They are getting so big! I will turn them loose in the goat pasture soon with the geese!

Just craving some simple food. Made a home made bbq/yumyum sauce for my wings and tater tots 🤤
